No, people there don't make them up. They only report what they find.

And by "real filth", i mean articles about middle-aged furries who tries to blackmail people by claiming that they would get cardiac arrest if person A doesn't make them a commission or is severing ties with said middle-aged man after person A realizes that middle-aged man is really only in on the relationship just so he can spend literally thousands of $$$ to cover his room with person A's drawings.

Not gonna happen anytime soon. It's already been an invisible law that if anyone ever brings up furries even in the slightest shred of negativity, everyone involved is going to go home extremely frustrated. Want all that to end? Quit trying to be diplomatic, enroll to Al-Qaeda and bomb the houses of every furry alive. Problem solved.

I never said that all furries are lecherous. I only said that CYD's real purpose is to make fun of the genuinely disgusting stuff that's in the furry fandom.

And no, i actually know -- not knowing all, but knowing enough, because i used to be a furry in the lifestyle sense for 3 years. Don't tell me to leave "you all" alone, you should tell that to the "devils" that the zealously virtuous minority swear to destroy using mere words alone.

I'm just voicing my supposedly biased opinions and loud mouth because i find that the sight of furries involved in idiocy and "devils" who constantly schemes to make fun of people just to look cool online in constant conflict makes me feel like being human is the worst burden to bear.

Say whatever else that makes you feel angry and take it all on me -- If you want me to shut up, you'll need to physically kill me.

Anyway, I wasn't taking that site seriously ofcourse. Just like the s*** of otherkin/therian bashing sites that roam the internet. I can still laugh about it even though I'm kin myself. I believe the people that own those kind of sites are actually mocking themselves by paying for it like every month or so.

Alright everyone needs to cool down here..I don't agree with this furry bashing..It's not fair to those who are furries, therians,P-shifters etc.. If you are going to have topics here on this forum, make sure it doesn't come off as offensive to anyone else..

Fine by me. Seems like here, people don't like me whenever i'm insensitive to issues i've had worse trauma out of.

There are perverts in every fandom and culture. It's just a shame that they are the most noticeable among the group. Back before Anime Otaku was mainstream, most fans were stereotyped to be weirdos obsessed with Hentai and... tentical sex. Furries are becomming mainstream rather quickly. Once they become as populated as other fandoms, there will be so many different kinds of people involved that a few stereotypes wont fit in even the slightest.

However, consider this. 80% of the "good" anthro art on the internet... is porn. (Good as in skillfully well drawn.) And over 50% of that is gay porn. To the general observer, that speaks volumes. No, it doesn't mean tht 80% of the fandom has a fetish for anthros, but it can come across as such. Generalizations, if you will. Someone who knows nothing about the fandom can see this information and make their own misinformed judgement about furries. This is all too common with just about every little niche fandom out there.

Know that here, nobody connects you, Pariah, to that small population of perverted furries. I'm happy to say you are one of the creators of that 20% of good clean antrho art that I enjoy viewing. If someone is generalizing about a particular type of person within the furry fandom, I see no reason why you should get upset since it has no relation to you. However, I can understand the frustration if that generalization is intended to cover the entire fandom, which is an unintelligent way to observe a culture.

Well I appreciate the compliment, Kae. But I disagree with your numbers. Have you ever been to yerf or jaxpad? Tons of phenomenal antho art with a pg-13 rating cap.

Heh, woops. Those statistics are from 2004. Well, at least the point was made though. However, this is proof that things are improving in that department.
