The answer to my question: 80 times....twice in each timezone. Counting all the weird ones in Asia.

The answer to your question: That depends entirely on how early I wake up and whether or not I have school.

Nothing to be sorry for... it just means you've got more self-control than I have...

BACK TO TOPIC!!!!!

why would you restrain yourself
and how

Posted: Fri Apr 25, 2008 5:28 pm
by Howlitzer
I would restrain myself only if:

1. I remain conscious of myself after the shift, but knew for sure after the fact that I had lost control in some way and was a danger to others/myself.

2. I was NOT conscious of my actions after the shift, and had no idea what I had been doing or if I was a threat.

As for restraining myself...my options would probably include:

- locking myself in a heavily reinforced room with multiple very strong combination locks, provided that I am sure I would not be able to unlock them after shifting.

- locking myself in a heavily reinforced room with a very strong padlock, and putting the key to said padlock in a small, strong safe with an electric lock, connected to a timer which will prevent me from opening it until morning.

AND...the most foolproof option:

Lock myself in a heavily reinforced room with a biometric fingerprint door lock.
Paw-pads don't have fingerprints.

Talking about biometric fingerprint readers...Will there be one which is paw pad compatible?
(Sorry to go a lil' off topic)

by Night_Hunter
but what if you were uncontrolable during shift and in your werewolf form you break the fingerprint scanner and then when you shift back you see the scanner broke, you can't get out and then you starve to death.

WHAT THEN HOWLITZER? WHAT THEN?

by Howlitzer
make it a really, really strong lock

by Night_Hunter
Oh................. yeah

that's true

yeah...... that'd work

by shiftergirl
if you don't want to get stuck in a locked room just get some steel bars and make a cell with a door and ask a relitive that knows you a werewolf or someone that knows to take the key from you and only give it back in the morning. or just lock youself in a steel room with the key in arms reach, i don't think a ww knows how to use a key so your in luck. if not that then your out of luck.

personly i would coller chain myself in a basement with no windows and a steel door so i can't get out. the door wouldn't be locked because a wolf don't know how to open a door, or i would just ask a higher/older wolf in more control of himself to lock the door and keep the key untill the night is over and then get it back.

of course
you are the forgetting the obvious method of isolating yourself far away from humanity
but thats not techinically restraing yourself
