You wouldn't be able to run from an attacking Werewolf in T.W.'s--you'd be too busy laughing. (while the W.W. sneaks off in embarassment)

Werewolf:

"GRRAWR!!"
Human: "Bwahha! Dude... Superman briefs?!"
Werewolf:

"Hey, my boxers are still in the wash, okay? Jeez!"

Superman briefs? You mean Underoos.

I'm very disappointed about how many people voted the fourth option. It's like as if all werecreatures were only meant to wear friggin' native indian doodads even if some of them are european or even chinese, by these voters.
I feel belittled. Very belittled.

Ummm...do you mean the 3rd option?
Sort of; they keep shorts or a loincloth, and the ladies also keep a bra
The 4th says...
No; clothes were made to be torn off dramatically

What do you care? Torn clothes, and no clothes are winning. I like a lioncloth for the practicality of it, not the asthetics.

I feel that it's mundane. But since i'm part of a minority, it's not really my right to say that.

tsk tsk...
don't get all grumpy over it. Heck, i could see werecreatures keeping some clothing too. but like i said, it would only be if they assimilated into society. Like a couple decades into Scott's story. Mostly because society would probibly demand it. That, and for werewolf soldiers, they'd prob have to wear all sorts of gear and body armor anyway. Heck. Depending on jobs and situations, you never know what you may have to put on...

I voted for the last, with it getting a slight more thought from than the third. Overall I think that it would be a matter of personal preference. I would most probably wear no clothes, but I wouldn't think wearing clothes as impossible.
...actually, now I think that I should have voted for the second option. But on the other paw... I don't think clothes are necessity.
Now is the time you try to make any sense of my babbling.

So far, I haven't seen anyone mentioning one factor: if seen by humans, clothing would be a clue to the werewolf's true identity. People might think Hey! That looks like Bill's red shirt! And Bill disappeared right before this thing showed up!
So, if werewolves did retain clothing (even in partial, shredded form) it would need to be chosen for its extremely blah, run-of-the-mill qualities. Plain white T-shirts, nondescript gray sweatpants and the simplest kind of blouses would fill a werewolf's closet, if it did retain clothing after shifting.

No, you have every right to say whatever you like. I just didn't really understand why it would matter if it's not even being voted for much.

I think it totally depends on the situation. I can understand why werewolves might choose to retain clothing to cover thier privates at least, (they are still half human after all), and also why they might not mind, and even prefer to go "In the Fur". I can see it going either way...or both, by the choice of the individual.
Personally...regardless of the risks involved in revealing thier identity, and the hinderance it may have on the body for swift motion,
(Not to mention the cost of having to buy a new wardrobe after every shift), my favorite way to see a werewolf is in full human garb...
socks, shirt, underwear and all...but
shredded to bits and just barely hanging toghether by threads.
...for me, it just doesn't get any better than that...
