Her look cast up to the sky as well and she inhaled deeply the wind once again blew through her hair. All the uglyness of that night seemed to be fading in the coming day.

"A new day is ahead. I'm going to get a little shut-eye." Forest-Wolf said as he closed his eyes.

Bright-Howl got up and walked off back to where she was standing and sat down.

Seeminlgy out of no-where, two paws were put on her shoulders, the masive claws gently tapping against her chest as they closed in what seemed like a gesture of care.
*whispered wolf-speech* Dark-Moon is proud of child... Sister taught her well... Wolf came out, but why still tears on surface... regret is human thing... useless thing...
A warm, wet snout pressed against her neck, giving a few licks on her cheek and throat
*whispered wolf-speech* full-blood you are... Dark-Moon was right about you... Dark-moon sent you to Sister... To learn the ways, the rites, the way... but... hunter was swift... He wished you dead because you are pure...
An arm was draped over her shoulder now, with tha claw locking around her side - forming a warm and loving hold on the confused, unsure Bright-howl
*Whispered wolf-speech* Moon is our aunt, Earth our mother... when both they are near us, joy we should feel... not sadness... come Bright-Howl... others sleep or tend wounds... Speak of your doubt, let Dark-Moon take it away... become what you deserve.... unchained and free !

Again the howl aroused, re-announcing the question for permission to enter the territory. This time it was much closer - very near to the place where Forest-Wolf was trying to get some sleep. The smell of blood came to the nose of the exhausted garou.

With a hint of annoyance in the blood-red eyes at this disturbance, Dark-Moon slightly lifted his head and sang a slow, gentle song of welcome for this wanderer.

Wolf-sister, Moon-child... Let paws rest from wandering... let water quench thirst... let leaves and soil warm your pelt... Bow to Dark-Moon and be welcome and safe

With a relieved sound the garou entered the battle-site. Her pelt had the color of a dark night and bore some scars - not as much as Dark-Moon, but enough to tell that she had fought some fierce battles before. Her emerald-green eyes were directed to the earth to avoid offending Dark-Moon.
With a swift look at her all could see that this garou must have had a hard fight not long ago and that she was bleeding out of several wounds. All could see that she had problems to stand upright on her two legs, but without any sign or sound of pain she bowed her tall and massive body in front of Dark-Moon, respectfully acknowledging his superiority.
*wolfspeech*
I thank you Dark-Moon, Scarred-One! Wise you are and your victory of this night shall be sung under our aunts light from now on!

The grey Wolf stared past the head of Bright-Howl at the bowed form in front of him. Never changing his position other than lifting his head, Dark-Moon spoke...
*wolf-speech* Hrrrrm.... Moon-dancer soul I hear in your words... But blood is on you... Did you bring battle with you ? dark-Moon is bound by promise of safety, so speak... Need you my Protection ?

*wolf-speech*
No battle I brought to you, bold-one. Last night this hunter tried to kill me, but he was to eager to follow his prey to make sure that I was dead. After I woke up I followed this now dead-one, but to slowly I was to take revenge for what he had dared to do. So I decided to help those who were in danger with my song.
She made a short pause, trying to get some air in her hurting lungs. It was obvious that this garou wasn't able to stand any longer, but that she was also to proud to show her weakness. She lifted her shoulders as if to regain some strenght and went on with her story
The only thing I need is a safe place for me to rest. Long was my hunt and relieved I am that this threat is over.

As is weighing each word that was spoken, Dark-Moon waited a little while before answering... The conviction of this one was great... No doubt a pure-blood as well
*wolf-speech* Let the weight of the hunt drop, Young one. Rest and heal.
The spirits of our ancestors are at peace... so must you be.

*wolf-speech*
May your wisdom be honored, Dark-Moon, and may your strenght never be forgot. I will lay down now to rest, if no questions are to be asked for now?

Forest-Wolf reopened his eyes, since he heard the movement of the newcomer. Standing up, he looked at the her, then to Broken-Fang.
"Who is she?"

She answered without changing her position
*singing wolf-speech*
My name, bold youngling?
My name is a story that is sung under the Moon's light.
My name is long and ever-changing.
This is my fortune
This is my gift -
As well as my curse!
The massive garou rested a short moment
*wolf-speech*
Till yesterday I was known as Raven-Wolf Story-Seeker, but this garou died last night.
Again she rested, but obviously unwilling to concede her exhaustion, she continued again. This time raising her voice to a calm but charming howl
*wolf-speech*
An old life is gone!
A new name will come!
A new one will sing!
A new story will begin!
After another short pause
*wolf-speech*
For now I shall be known to you as Night-Song Tale-Spinner, since this is what I've done during this night of new fortune. But the night is ending, a new day is coming and even the strongest garou has to sleep.

Forest-Wolf looked at her with understanding.
"Ok, I will let you rest."
He turned away and walked to where Bright-Howl was.

Night-Song nodded relieved and bowed a little bit more in front of Dark-Moon and with a short reassuring look at him she started to turn around. But then, as if Dark-Moon remembered her of something she had heard, she hesitated and gave him a closer look. A bright expression of joy filled her tired eyes
*wolf-speech*
Really - nights of new fortune like this shall be sung about when famous scars appear again.
She turned around - now with a seemingly new strength found - and moved to a place near the trees to rest there. Night-Song changed to her lupusform, layed down and was sleeping in the same moment.

Bright-Howl had listened to all the new garou had said. Still in Dark-Moon's embrace she laide her head on his massive shoulder as she looked to Forest-Wolf. "Are you a bit rested?" Her voice was gentle and held a strength that belied her calm surface.

Dark-Moon seemed at ease when stitting there, holding Bright-Howl. His red eyes slowly settled into the deep amber pools they had been before. Relaxed he waited untill his wounds had healed and scarred over. He gently touched her head as it rested on his body.... making soothing strokes against the side of her head.
He merely sat and enjoyed the morning sun...

"Yes, a little."
He sat down next to her and looked around.
"I wonder where she came from," He said looking towards the new garou.
Turning towards Bright-Howl, he smiled.

Bright-Howl smiled softly as Dark-Moon stroked the side of her head. Her silent fears seem to slip away. Her warm honey colored eyes followed Forest-Wolf's gaze to the new garou. "I'm not sure, but she seems to need our help." She nesteled into Dark-Moon's massive shoulder comforted by his closeness.

The old Wolf smiled as she expressed her concern for the newcomer.
She might need it, but she will not take it.... She is a proud one. She prefered to howl the introduction twice rather than run in... no matter how wounded she was...
And she sang the tale of her name, without regard for her pain...
Let her sleep. The wounds will close in her current form...
And don't you worry... if they don't I'll help her.

Bright-Howl nodded and smiled gently. "You are so kind." She stroked the side of his muzzle in an extreme gesture of trust.

A glare of red lit the area as the sun barely appeared above the land. The warmth seemed to make the evil of the night fade away. Looking to Bright-Howl, Broken-Fang, Lone-Wolf, then Night-Song, he smiled.
"Today is going to be better. I can tell."

Bright-Howl nodded her warm honey colored eyes still locked on Dark-Moon.

Dark-Moon smiled at the seeming peace that Bright-Howl had found here and now... Hoping it would last through the rest of her life. He then spoke to Forest-wolf...
You have fought your first battle as a Werewolf, young one... And you have earned the scars to prove it. This is a day of great glory for you... a day that should be feasted.
I will ask the newcomer to sing the tales of our deeds when she is healed and rested... and perhaps lend my own voice to the chant.
But as much as the old wolf was speaking of action and feasting, he seemed unwilling to leave the warm embrace with Bright-Howl... as if he too had just found something he perhaps had not even realised he had lost...
But where is the one called Tsume ? She has certainly earned her deed-name now... I would wish to impart it to her when the spirits listen and her wounds have scarred over. But i cannot see her or smell any recent traces...

The sound of big wings could be heard, as a huge raven landed on a branch of the tree right above Night-Song. The raven sat there for a while as if observing her. Then the raven left the branch and landed near Night-Song. The raven almost gently touched her black muzzle, as if not sure about waking her or let her sleep.
With an annoyed calm snarl she opened one green eye and licked gently the ravens beak. She started to make sounds like a raven would do
*raven-speech*
Ah, there you are. Let me rest, old friend.
Then she slipped back into a deep healthy sleep and the raven flew back to the branch where he had landed before, watching her as if he were her guard.
