geekboy1500 wrote:On the topic of werewolfism (is that how you would phrase that ?) I think that it is a D-I-S-T-A-N-T possibility that werewolves are existing on earth right now, if you look at the bottom of the ocean for example, there are things there that we never even would have Dreamed about 30-40 years ago, why cant werewolves also fall into that catigory?

There are huge, and tiny but extrordinary things at the bottom of the ocean that we don't know about because:
A: It's huge...the sea floor is MUCH larger than the combined dry surfaces of the earth.
B: Due to the extreme conditions down there, we have been unable (untill only just recently) to actually go down there and check it out.
...it's not suprising we have been able to loose things the size of ocean liners (namely...sunken ocean liners) and giant squids down there.
Now...if the mythical sunken city of Atlantis (not the real sunken cities that have allready been found) was was inhabited by werewolves, and it was 500 miles out to sea, and below crush depth, I could see how we would not have found it yet.

My (on-topic) ten-pence-worth: I don't think werewolves - in the sense of someone who can physically shapeshift - do exist, no. For all that iI like the idea, it does raise some serious scientific plausibility issues from both biology, chemistry and physics points of view. (Biology - HOW???; physics; energy supply and not being cooked by the waste heat output of shifting. Chemistry - probably something, but I don't know enough to validly say.)
However, I will happily concede that I cannot, in any absolute sense, prove this point of view.

i do realize that as much as we would LIKE to have werewolves (at least at the present time) it is a statistical improbobility

Furthermore, given as how Plato nor his Egyptian sources never mentioned anything about wolves when they spoke of Atlantis, and that neither wolves nor humans are capable of surviving permanently underwater, it is safe to assume that there are no werewolves in Atlantis, nor are there any werewolves hiding at the bottom of the oceans.

Loooooooong Story...
...actually, not really.
Somone (I forgot who) made a comment about "Duckies" way back when...and it became an option on the poll deciding what we would call our group...("The Pack" won, BTW)
It was Xodiac that brought up "duckies" as a name for our group.
Vuldari wrote:
...then someone joked about bonking someone with a rubber duckie...Figarou LOVED it and started using it as a running gag...somone made an animated wolf-emoticon of a wolf being hit by said duckie...
That "someone" that joked about bonking others with duckies was me. *points to self* And I think you know who made the 1st wolf emoticon being hit by a said duckie. Again me. *pats self on the back*
Here is your responce after I made that wolf emoticon.
