I think both ABrownrigg and *gasp* WolvenOne would qualify for such an award.WolvenOne wrote:Lessee.... there should be a "Survivor" award.... not sure who would deserve such an award though.... not fig since he's gotten so many already...... but...a user who has been around a long long time and has remained active...
Any ideas?
Terastas, Silverclaw, Figarou, Apokryltaros, Vuldari, and Scott Gardener are all right up in there, too.

There was a few months there where I wasn't terribly active so I'm sure somebody else is more suitable. I'd love to claim a reward but I'd feel guilty if I wasn't completly honest about my shortcomings.Vilkacis wrote:I think both ABrownrigg and *gasp* WolvenOne would qualify for such an award.WolvenOne wrote:Lessee.... there should be a "Survivor" award.... not sure who would deserve such an award though.... not fig since he's gotten so many already...... but...a user who has been around a long long time and has remained active...

I'm not so sure that matters, really. You're the oldest member here other than ABrownrigg that's still active today. Surely that's worth something?WolvenOne wrote:There was a few months there where I wasn't terribly active so I'm sure somebody else is more suitable. I think you should get an award for that.

I could've been higher up if I wasn't so picky. I saw this new forum from a link at (werewolf.com). I came here, looked around, then left. Okay, here's some new awards I'd like to throw out....
Lucky Dog: The Award for whomever has experienced the most life or death situations and, of course, walked away. I'm going to exempt myself from running for this one cause.... er... lets just say I've had an unusual life and since I brought up the award it'd look bad if I instantly won.
Wolves Stomach Award: A wolf can eat 30 pounds of food in one sitting I believe. Whomever gets closest to that mark wins this one.
Technical Ineptitude Award: This is more about being clutzy with technalogy, not knowing how to enter the MUCK or IRC won't go very far.
Making it up as you're going along Award: Goes to the person best at improvising.

You might as well hand it to me because I had so many life-threatening situations in my truck driving career.
An 18 wheeler filpped onto its side in front of me. I could've been killed if I wasn't paying attention to what was going on. I stopped in time to avoid crashing into him. Also had a guy trying to run from the cops. He was hauling a** on the wrong side of the road. Its a scary situation when you see a pair of headlights coming right at you.
The list goes on.

well, I'm exempt but I might as well list off some of my life-and-death experiences.
Car Crashes
Being thrown out of a moving vehicle
Sleding under a FAST moving vehicle
Close encounters with large Alaskan Mammals
Being stranded out in the Alaskan Wilderness, and subsequently almost seeing my fathers head chopped off in front of me. (I was like 7, if that blade hadn't stopped just in the nick of time I probably would've died as a result.)
Nearly drowning, twice.
Nearly having my head taken off when I carelessly stuck my head out of a moving vehicle.
Risking Hypothermia
and you know what, I'm gonna stop there before this list gets out of hand.
