I wish you the best. Congrats on your end of radiation. Hopefully you get to enjoy your couple of weeks of rest.

Enjoy the English saddle, that's a really good find! (coming from someone that knows little about riding except that everything tends to be way up there in price.
We're here with ya, vrikasatma. You've come this far, you can do it!

Yeah, it can be expensive to have a horse, but it doesn't have to be. It's only expensive if you show which I don't.
I've learnt that the horses don't care whether you buy the $3000 saddle/$600 bridle/$400 boots or the $400 saddle/$60 bridle/$100 boots so long as they don't break. And I have a knack for finding bargains. But seriously, I think dharma/the universe/God was helping me out on this

And now you got it!
I just came back from the hospital. Thank god the Miami Hospital is a couple blocks away. They just gave me medicine and some special mouthwash that taste horrible. Nothing more.

Ay yi yi yi yi, here we go again...
My surgeon's nurse called me at 8:30 this morning to set me up with a pre-op visit. Yes, ANOTHER round of surgery on Nov. 30!

This time it's to put the portacatheter in and I'm getting it in a scary place: right in the main artery in my chest.
Round of tests, check into the hospital, anaesthesia...the only good news is I don't have to take the bowel prep again...I think...
And after it's in and healed, guess what? Intravenous Chemotherapy
For four months
And one of the sessions is on the first day of FurCon, so I'll be missing that. Can't travel if I'm sick
Eh, well. Tomorrow's Thanksgiving, I got bread bowls to make...contact with yeast will make me happy, for the interim

*prances around happily*
Guess what everybody? It's snowing! Snow! It's cold outside, but we Ohioans are adapted to the extreme differences between our summers and winters
(well, a lot of people stood out in just t-shirts or hoodies during recess.).
I also have some Hot Chocolate with me right now and I've been humming Holiday songs all day.
Thank Goodness we llamas have a lot of warm wool!
(We need a winter wolf icon, or one with snow on it.)
Aww...that sucks vrikasatma!
Also, have a happy Turkey day! Gobble 'till you wobble!

H'mmm, I wonder what the Virtual Snow Globe is going to entertain us with this year?
I'm feeling a little better...I swear, I think yeast is a psychoactive. I went in to punch down the dough after it proofed, took it out of the bowl, reshaped it into a round again, and as I went to re-cover it with plastic wrap the dough WINKED and BLEW ME A KISS!!

Hmph! Those Italian bread doughs can be so fresh sometimes

Wow, I'm going to have to see if that's going on at all their stores.
I've gotten my computer back and I've got an old monitor to use untill I get my new one, so I expect to be able to be on here a lot more. About as much as I was before the computer broke, which was quite a bit. But I didn't post much then either so I won't suddenly flood the boards or anything. Just thought I'd throw it out there.
Hmm, looks like my avatar could use a little resizing, and I still need to give saber credit in the sig, I'll start working on that now
I'll be gone for awhile...

Hey, just wanted everyone to know that, for at least the next two weeks, I'll be gone. I llloooooooovvvvvveeeee this website, a little too much, and it distracts me from my schoolwork. I have a massive paper due soon, seven chapters to read in a book, and an accounting take-home test to do. Not to mention, finals is coming up, starting real soon.
As much as I'd love to remain here during that time period, being a part of this website takes away from my study and homework time. I am far too easily distracted. So, until at least December 10th, I have to go. The semester will end then and I will be able to come back.
Anyway, I just wanted to let y'all know that. I've been a regular to this site since about midsummer, so I didn't want anyone to worry about me.
If, for some reason, I can't control myself and insist on coming back to post more...mods please don't hesitate to do something about it. Ban me, until December 10th, if necessary. Thanks!
See y'all in two weeks!

So who's going to fry my eggs? J/K
See you in a few days.
I know you can't stay away from this board for 2 whole weeks.

The only way i can stay away from this board for 2 whole weeks is if I was isolated from a computer for 2 whole weeks.
