Yay! Rebooting fixed the Workspace Selector! I'm happy now. Hopefully I'll still be that way once I try to turn of the Desktop Effects again... So annoying.

How can you back up information?

(CD burner or DVD, USB?)

well i have a little...memory...thing? and a few cds but eh...If I reboot I might lose some stuff that I cant put on a cd

Ghost drive or a secondary harddrive for storage.

USB Flash drive?

I have a couple 1GB flash drives to back up data, as well as DVD's, until the new system, it was USB and compact discs, those USB drives are quite handy, at least the price is dropping within the last few months.

Even if no information is lost, the time to reload every program and download everything from the internet again can take some time.

Never can be too careful from exploding computers, at least in some sense.

Music can be on the computer, Ipod and on MP3 DVD.

DATA, Information and programs can be on USB and DVD.

And all of the above can be on an external hard drive as well, or any combination that allows information to be backed up at least two times.

I believe in backing up information, many times over.

My sister does this...but getting an external hard drive (a very big one, a terra bite storeage) is like....300-500 dollars in the stores. Very expensive stuff, but I agree, very smart to do.

I just looked at external hard drive prices, the most expensive one now is a two terabyte at over seven hundred dollars, the five hundred gigabyte at under one hundred and thirty would do for some time. A good size USB flash drive were rather expensive for awhile, there would be quite a few sales over the last few months, best being ten dollars for a one gigabyte.

My Dreamcast isn't broken! Yay! It was the game that didn't work, so I traded it in for Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver. Bad graphics (at least for a Dreamcast... it looks kinda like an N64 game... or maybe I'm overestimating the Dreamcast, I don't know, I just remember the graphics being better), hard to control camera (due to the Dreamcast controller... it's controlled with the D-pad... damn you, Sega), and repetitive combat. However, the story is interesting and even with the repetitive combat the gameplay is fairly decent. First impression is rather good, hope it stays that way (with a supposedly 40 hour game... I mean damn, dude). Hope it turns out good. I like the weapon system. In fact, most of the fighting reminds me of a lesser Prince of Persia (newer ones), which is not at all a bad thing. Let's see where it goes.
