I just saw Balls of Fury. I thought it was really funny, though a lot of people are slamming it on IMDb. You really have to go into it expecting a stupid movie based around ridiculousness (the plot is Bruce Lee's Enter the Dragon, but with ping pong... do the math), and I personally thought it succeeded on that level. I say give it a go... But be warned that you may hate it, apparently.

There's also a few unexpected cameos in there... Besides Christopher Walken (Christopher Walken, damn it!) as the bad guy, I saw George Lopez, Diedrich Bader, Dangle and Trudy from Reno 911, and Patton Oswalt... Well, Walken and Oswalt are in the trailer, but they're unexpected in this kind of film, where the good guy is played by someone almost completely unknown, as are most of the characters.

He's just into ping pong for some reason. He's also into extortion, murder, and arms dealing. He kills the main character's father in the beginning because they had a bet that the main character would win, and he didn't, so he was killed. I assume because he couldn't pay, but that was never actually said out loud.

Again, don't expect a smart comedy and you might not be disappointed.
