I went in for a baseline scan on Monday, the results came back today and at 4:56PM this evening, PDT, my oncologist's nurse called and said, "Your scan looks GREAT!"
No liver lesions (colorectal cancer often mets out to the liver), lymph nodes are stable and normal, everything's cool in there. I went and got Chinese takeout and Coldstone to celebrate!
*Whew* Yeah, we be CANCER-FREE!!

Time to reclaim my life and take advantage of this reboot.
OMG!!! Thats so awsome!!!!

I'll be on my latest house-hunting trip and set of work shifts starting tomorrow. It looks like I'll be living in Rockwall, Texas, in maybe six weeks or so. I'll know more later.

I got my Underworld:Evolution today!!! W00t!! (I know you guys were expecting this) When I saw the date on my reciept I said to myself "I knew thier was something fishy about the release date of this move!!!"

6/6/06.
Anyway I got the widescreen edition(to bad they made the screen a little too small for my taste of widescreens.) Luckily my power DVD has ian option to make it almost like fullscreen edition, where it only cuts out a bit of the sides with out make the characters look distorded. I was suprise....The movie didnt sold as fast the first one when it came out on the first day.

Im still planning on getting the underworld extended edition.

Haha! the 6/06/06 is a load of donkey's poo, because abbreviated dates DO NOT COUNT!!!! The only 666 was the year 6AD. People make the dumbest assumptions and ohh......-listening to guitar harmony solo-....ohhh I cant comment anymore I have to go.

There was also a 666
BC.
BC, AD...I'm surprised they're still being used. Most people don't even know what they mean. (BC = before christ, AD = anno domini, in the year of our lord, both VERY christian)

no because jesus lived for thirty some odd years so to include those they made Anno Domini (latin) and it means in the year of our lord i don't know why but the Jews and Muslims just Call it CA or Common ara or BCA for before common era

In AD 01, war was beginning:
"A.D." indeed stands for "anno domini." 1 A.D. follows 1 B.C.; there was no year zero. It should be noted that current scholars place Christ's birth around 4 B.C., meaning he was born four years before he was born.
Since modern thinking acknowledges that some of us aren't Christian, but the calendar is grandfathered in after about 1600 years of use, the use of "C.E." (Common Era) and "B.C.E." (Before Common Era) have taken over in contemporary usage. It's still the same calendar, but I can use it without feeling like someone's preaching to me.

I know. "Anno domini" means "year of our lord," and my usual reply is "Which Lord?!"
I use CE and BCE, too.

Why does most people think AD stands for After Death, then.

Because most people aren't good with Latin.
