Wikipedia isn't a credible source of information, I looked it up in Webster's II New College Dictionary.

It's credible enough to say that 'Bologna' is a town in Italy. (The link I posted has nothing to do with the meat.)

Both Merriam-Webster and The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language say that 'bologna' is the correct spelling, and Marriam-Webster says it was named after the town in Italy.

Actually, nothing at Wikipedia is set in stone, anything can be edited with the click of the mouse and a few keyboard strokes. It's good for looking up general information, but not real research. That's why it's known as a refutable source of information.

And it can also be reverted back to a point where its information is correct.

Unless it's verified and back by the government, or certified proffesionals or experts, it's not credible.

Oh...

I'd say that if the "government" has anything to do with it, the information is probobly skewed or incomplete.

"official" sources will tell you what something is supposed to be or mean.

"unofficial" sources are equally likely to tell you what those things REALLY are/mean, as they are to be complete 'Bull$***'.

Cross-referecing is usually a good idea. 'Certified' sources will give you part of the story. ...but it's the rest that will tell you what you really wanted to know.

That's not really what I'm trying to say.

Wikipedia has some true information but anyone can edit it and there are many things there that are not accurate, it's not a completely credible source.
