There's still a lot of pieces being picked up around here, too, in the Beaumont / Port Arthur area. (I'm at work. I commute there from the Houston area, where I live at home.) I still see a lot of wreckage, even though the power lines are mostly back up; a lot of damaged trees, fences are gone, and a lot of houses have temporary plastic wrappers and patches as they await new roofs.
Glad you're back with power and back online, AlphaOokami.

. I feel bad for you having to go through all that. Im glad you have your power back on. Mabey this will remind you to not to take electricity for granted.

Ouch. If I lived in an area that had the risk of losing power like that, I would invest in a good generator. And even more batteries for my UPS.

But we were under a boil water order, so maybe the lake would have been worse. ^^;
