I'd love to have a hat for Freeborn. Anytime outside of school, or where hats are prohibited, I'm always wearing a nice baseball cap. I only own one at a time though, I wear them untill they get lost. My current hat is a new fading Green Nike hat. I'd certainly trade the Nike swoosh in for a The Pack hat in an instant! I know the thing would defiently be worn everyday...well, untill I loose it. Then I'll cry.
Same would go for a hoodie. I always had that one jacket I'd love so much and wear everyday, untill I grew out of it or lost the poor thing. My current hoodie isn't in a very good shape right now. I'd kill tp have a black FreeBorn hoodie to wear!
T-Shirts would be the most basic thing to go with, and certainlly something I'd also would hopefully be wearing soon.

One thing to note - Packwere and Freeborn are two seperate things. But, I'm sure that our friend AB is paying attention. But, I will see how this plays out - there is the possibility that the nature of this will be changing soon. I will keep you informed.

There's a new art material called "silver clay." It's pure silver in clay form that can be molded and bakes out to 99% silver. Pack medallions could be made out of that.
I still have some researching to do into the material. If it can be done in a conventional oven and doesn't require an actual ceramic kiln, which I don't have, I'd be willing to make the Pack medallions. I'll need to do some research and testing of the material before anything's firm, though.

That sounds interesting. It might require some creative explaining when one reveals what the symbol represents, and the viewer questions the logic of a werewolf (wannabe) wearing silver.

Of course, I'd still buy one.

Its called PMC clay. Precious Metal Clay.
PMC is exceptionally easy to work with and requires no experience.
Its made of clay like material made of 99.9% pure silver and organic binder.
Its less dense when finished than casting or fabrication which means it would be lighter in weight than a traditionally produced silver piece.
PMC+ - This is stronger, dries quicker and needs to be fired in a kiln.
PMC3 - This fires at lower temps and can be used in a kiln, hot pot or by a torch.
Hot pot runs about 40 bucks and you can only do up to 20g at a time.
Regular PMC shrinks about 30% and is not as strong as the newer ones I listed above, they shrink less at about 12%.
Has to be fired at 1200 degrees F (650 C) so it cannot be baked in a home oven.
Here are some good sources for information and/or ordering
Tim McCreight's book "Working with Precious Metal Clay"
http://www.pmcsupply.com
http://www.pmcguild.com
I design jewelry and have wanted to work with this for awhile but have been so busy with other things I havent gotten around to it yet.
But some friends on my other forums I visit have had a lot of fun working with it.
Im not sure what the cost factor would be, as PMC can be pricey. If you found a good wholesaler you might be able to get lower prices or check the yahoo groups (Jewelry groups etc) and see if anyone is doing a bulk buy on PMC. Bulk buys can save a lot of money and its how I usually get my sterling wire that I work with at a much discounted price.

Thanks for the info, Kamara
The Eugene Saturday Market has a number of jewelers and sculptors so I might try to get a group order going with everyone pitching in. But I am keen on working with it, since I love playing around with clay
How much room does a hot pot take up?

Hot pots look to be quite small - maybe crock pot size?
Even a decent size kiln that I need to buy for making lampwork beads is not going to be huge but a kiln will certainly hold more pieces and I think I will wait until I buy a kiln to try it myself.
I do have torches so if I get the time I may try a few small pieces just to see what its like.
Hot pot looks to be fun and fast - I think they take less than a half hour - I would need to check that info though LOL
I forget if the PMCsupply.com has the dimensions or not. I know they sell it. I believe the second page of their products.
If you cant find it let me know and I will look it up. <G>

I checked out the site — yeah, me loves it!
Definitely want to score some.
I'm going to write them and ask if they could offer it in copper and/or bronze, because this'd be a great way to do my stick horse finials. They'd probably make a killing that way.

Actually, I think Temporary tatoos would rock

I'd love to stick one on my laptop or MP3 player or something ;) Just for the added Pack touch
On the shirts note though, I can't WAIT to see 'em! I'll be first in line to shovel out my money for one as soon as they are available online

Hats too... I wanna show off my Packishness
(Cons aren't an option. Dang location!

)
EDIT: I did a 10-second Photoshop job on my
MP3 player. There's a second one there too, a small variation on the first X)

Glad to hear it. At the moment, I'm waiting on three things before the shirts. Once they happen, then I'll go postal again about ordering info and all of that jazz.

Just wondering, but will there be an online disributer chosen to make and sell the Packwere products? You know, like Cafe Press, but doesn't suck? That lil' link on the main page can't be dead forever, can it?
