I like this one. I'd prefer it to be completely furry instead of just patches of fur, and maybe have a wolfier head, but all in all, it's nice.

Ah...you're right. Those were made by different artists.
...and I didn't catch that at first. Boris's ears are laid back. Apparently, whatever he is looking at is even scarier than he is. (He certainly is surrounded by a seedy lot, isn't he? I'd be scared too.)
...that's rather odd...

Yeah.
Here he's licking and his ears are out to the side. That's not indimidation. That's fear/submission. All he needs to do now is roll over.
I've read way too much on the social interactions of wolves.
