I didn't see this thread, but I happened to catch the episode in its entirity last night. Pretty good, actually, and rather tragic. The story centers on hypertrichosis, the same disorder that the character in Wolf Girl / Blood Moon had. (It aired on TV as the first title, but was released on DVD by the second.)

Overall, I was a bit disappointed in the episode. Not necessarily because I expected a true werewolf to be included in the episode, but rather it wasn't as suspenseful as many of their other episodes.

I pretty much figured it was going to be about that. CSI tends to be fairly well grounded in those aspects.

Same hear figured it out as soon as Fig mentioned it

it made me cry. it was sad to see what happened to that gal.

CSI tends to be pretty respectful of fringe cultures.

I try to catch anything that's going to be widely broadcast about Werewolves. There's a huge difference between fictional Werewolves and Wolf Therians but the first thing that pops into a nonTherian's mind when they hear about us is the fictional Werewolf and most of them can't seem to get past that image so Werewolf fiction is important to me. And I appreciate positive (or sympathetic) portrayals like the CSI episode.

I thought it was alright, I mean as far as CSI goes anyways I felt really sorry for the girl...never going out, always hiding.... I also thought it was sad that the guy's best friend shot him because he didn't want his nieces or nephews to turn out like him. a**.

No kidding... Alright everybody we have justice to do!
