Im not trying to take on anyone sides here Morkulv but Rerouni is right. Religion is a very sensitive subjsect and you should take care of what you say on that matter for it could lead to a serouse arguement. You can talk about religion, its just that this isnt quite the thread to do it in. Just so that I dont seem like Im only on Rerouni side. I dont believe everything that the bible said, I believe thier was a couple of ecasions where some of the information in the book were reported to be false or exaterated the truth.

I kinda agree with you there. There are some stories in the bible which I think are metaphors, rather than actual occurences.

Discussion of religion is fine. It's when people start implying that someone else's religion is for some reason or other unintelligent to follow or just "bad" that things start to go in a direction defined largely by flamewars and such.

The problem with a bird's eye view is that one can never see detail from way up in the sky.

You don't get my point. You can either say you agree with me, or not. If you don't, then thats fine. Its not my problem if someone starts a flamewar about it. The person who starts fighting over a subject because of soemones opinion is wrong in the end, no matter how you turn it. In other words: you can easily say you don't agree without flaming.

First of all, what flamewar? I see no flaming or flame-war here, all I see is discussion.

Furthermore, I wasn't arguing with you about your opinion. You can have whatever opinion you want. But, you should use discretion about which opinions you share.

For example, I have some rather negative opinions about furries and therians, but I don't share them anywhere on this forum. There are too many people here that could be hurt by that. Does that make sense? Just like there are many Christians here that can be hurt by having their religion criticized.

You "drink" from a glass.

Like so.

Yes, you can lap from a glass or cup. But can you lap from an extra tall glass or cup?

Hmmmm?

Try lapping from a very tall and thin glass or cup. I bet your tonuge won't reach the bottom.
