I'm not a big fan of Hatebreed, but stuff like Meshuggah, Mushroomhead, Slayer, Dimmu Borgir, Emperor and alike always appealed to me (even though Mushroomhead is considered "nu-metal").

MY personal Faves are Werewolves of London by Warren Zevon and OF Wolf and Man by Metallica, but some good werewolf instrumentals out of the anime Wolf's Rain...

Meshuggah is something you need to learn to enjoy. I didn't like it either, but after a while it gets cool. Weird music though.

Emperor is a Nordic black metal band. Maybe you can find some samples at they'r homepage: www.emperorhorde.com I personally enjoy they'r music.

I'm surprised no one mentioned "Werewolves of London" by Warren Zevon. It plays on the tape at work. (I hate the song, though.)

One song that I feel fits this would be Alter Bridge's Metalingus. Admittedly, I heard it used in a Sabrewulf compilation/tribute video and, given the lyrics, it does seem to be fitting. The singer sings about how he's leaving the past behind to pursue a better future and a dream. I suppose it could be applied not only to his story, but weres in general. These lyrics, credits going to azlyrics, are not entirely correct. When I find a more accurate version or write up one myself, I'll edit this post.
