IM GOING TO HAVE TO AGREE WITH WOLFMAN1991
While it may be possible for a werewolf to survive a fall off of a cliff, even walk away from it, but, when you have a werewolf survive a blow to the head from a falling baby grand piano, well, something about it strains believability.

Well, that depends on how far the piano fell before hitting said werewolf on the head, really.

If Werewolves didn't die...whatever world in whichever Universe-Manifold they lived on would be literelly "The Planet of Werewolves." Smoothskin humanity would have either died out or been absorbed byt the Weres.

Here's a question: How Wrinkled would a 3000 year-old Werewolf be?
Would he just be a mass of Hair and Wrinkles that complained a lot?

   :P

I now have this vision of a withered old dog talking with a Yiddish accent.

Yeah, they can die. Livin' forever would suck anyway. Where's the fun in life without the chance of dyin'? hehehe...

Enough trauma, injury to vital organs, or blood loss could kill anything. I like to think that Werewolves have more strong white bloodcells, good bone structure, and a high motabolism. Mortal, just in top condition.

Hmmm. I see my Grandpa as werewolf... This make my head hurt a lot! He is 87 I think and is very crotchety. Would you imagine this: A elderly werewolf tottering with walking device and with bald spot and Howling until teeth drop to ground? (This happened to my grandpa when he was singing old army song last year.)

Gumming enemies to death and saying not like old days!

No matter how durable they are, a Werewolf wouldn't survive:
Apolokrytos Piano drop of three stories.
Decapitation.
Complete combustion.
Being dissolved in something.
Dehydration.
Asphyxiation.
and of course;
Being buried in rubber duckies ten feet deep.
(for Fiagrou)
:P

of cause Werewolves can die...everything that kills a human or a Wolf can kill a Werewolf too. Not like in some Movies, where they just can die by shooting them with Silver-Bullets or something. I think they can die just like every living creature...

"Who said "die?" Sure, you can die! *loads shotgun* You want to die?"
"No, no, I want to live! There's still too many things I don't own yet!"

No, all werewolves are actually cyber-droids from the future, come to cleanse the human race.

Or something.

WereWolves are supernatural Beings..They most likely would be about to die from a man made weapon because guns are natural an made by man..For all we know the bullets could bounce of a werewolf like superman :jester: Superman ain't real, but that's how powerful he is an he's definatly not natural can't die from man made weapons :P

I suppose it depends on what sort of werewolf story you're trying to tell. Now if you're wanting to write a character drama/action thriller sort of story (i.e. the sort of werewolf story I'd most want to read/watch), it wouldn't be good to have the werewolves too invulnerable... without that element of danger, the thought that if a character makes the wrong choice, he could end up in hospital (or worse), it would lack a certain "edge" to the drama. That's just the way I see things, though.

Invincible characters are lame and boring. Like Mindnight said, if there is no chance that the werewolf can be hurt at all...why would anyone have any reason to care about them?

Even Superman can be taken down. (And not only by Kryptonite either.)

...BTW...bulletproof werewolves?... Image
