The "Sex at Cons" panel was completely retardid. Entertaining, but uninformative. All they explained was basic ettiquete, and had some wakko in the front row keep inturrupting with humorous innuendos. All in all, it felt like half the guys in there had shallow ideas on their minds. I don't plan on attending that panel next year.

New Mexico sucks the most. I know this because I was born and raised near Dallas, Texas. Texas quite simply, rocks hardcore.

Edit (2 days later): Wow I was really negetive the day I posted that. Well, I was sick with a stomach virus, so I guess it makes sense.

And I'm buying my ticket right now! The price of the weekend tickets will rise after the 15th I think.

Yeah, I'm ready for 2007, too. I finish the year better off than when I started, it's been a very crazy and rough ride getting here, and the chaos has been pretty relentless. I get the feeling that the same goes for a lot of you.

And, this A-Kon, I'll be ready. Shadowsaber says my outfit is pretty much done.

Hehe well I was I sappose, but I decided last time to go at the last min so I didn't get to bring all the stuff I'd like to have..LIke GlowSticks lol I wanted alot more an this time I am going to have lots more cause not everyone got one

I already have quite a bit of them, so if I buy a few packets each month(there only a dollar a pack sometimes alot less) I'll have plenty for everyone to have some an I was going to bring something else along that only a few people know about No spoilers hehe well it's something to counter Fig's duckies

Ok....this is WAAAY to early to tell. But I'll know more as time moves on.

I'm in the process of getting a new job. I'll be doing the same thing. (Hauling gasoline.) I'll be working for Exxon instead of a contractor. This means more money and better benefits.

One of 3 things could happen once I start with Exxon.


1) I go all 3 days to A-kon.

2) I go for only one day.

3) I don't go at all.

I was told I get one day of vacation per month. By the time May rolls around, I should be able to go all 3 days. Only one thing that can stop me from going. A senior driver wanting the same days for his vacation. He'll get it...I won't.


I'll just have to wait and see.

Same here I plan on having a camera for the event this year I can't believe a-kon is only four months away now..Well 5 if you count this month I can't rush it, but hell I want to So much still needs to be done..I want to make sure I have my half suit an my outfit that goes with it..I decided on a different approach with my costume lol I can't wait

Thus far June 1st-3rd is seemingly doable for me. I want to try and stay in Texas for the whole week this time. The middle of summer may be pocketed with busy days here and there that I can't get off. So it's either buy an expensive plain ticket that I can't use, or drive the distance. I'd hate to have to change the schedule at the last minute. I suppose I'd better fill the mp3 player to the brim for the trip. *sigh* Well, by that time I can afford to miss one or two days of work, but they don't like that very much.

I had a dream last night.....

In it, I missed the first day of A-kon. I woke up and said "Crap, it is the second day of A-kon.... in January.... screw this, more sleep."

Just wandering the convention, nothing too interesting--no flying bananas or anything that surreal. Come to think of it, being at A-Kon, that would be weird.

I dunno....I don't think much of anything would be weird at A-kon.
(especially when Fig runs out of duckies)

My premise being that lack of weirdness would be weird. Flying bananas are kind of normal there. Consider the following Anime titles:

Full Metal Banana
Banana Zero
Superdimensional Ninja Force Banana
