Lol, funny time difference... Look at the posting-time and the clock on my desktop (I made the screenshot very quick).

I haaaaate Vista.... :D

I don't like the GUI, or just the general feel of it. I'm sticking with XP Media Center Edition for a while.

I got no problems with it what so ever. At least, not more then I had with XP.

I also use Vista Home Premium edition, wich could make a lot of difference.

And ofcourse the main pro about Vista... NO MORE INSTALL-CD's!!! Woooohooo!! All drivers and soundcard-utilities get installed automatically. :D

Hey Morkulv, did you position the clock so that it looks like the wolf is devouring it on purpose? :)

No, its the standard clock-position of Vista. I couldn't think of any other place to put it. :P It only appears when windows are open though.

Fear my Linux! FEAR IT!

I should change the background at some point. I also don't have many desktop icons... Most of my programs are on the top bar. In fact, I just added about eight more. Woo!

*looks at Morkulv's*

Ooh... Vista is pretty. I'd consider getting it, but I've heard some things... I'll wait a couple years, maybe they'll release a service pack or some type of bug fixer.

I also don't have many desktop icons
It makes for a simplistic look, I have no desktop icons, only a few programs on my taskbar.

I like having a couple, but it starts to look cluttered after awhile so with this computer I'm just leaving on the default ones and putting my frequently used programs (or not so frequently used, but still interesting enough to leave there) at the top panel.

There's a button on ur keyboard that says print screen. Just push that an open a paint program an go to edit an click paste an it should show you your desktop, but make sure your screen is cleared off so ur desktop can be seen..You prollie know that much though :Jester3:

Ha! I laugh at your puny Print Screen and paste! I just have to press Print Screen and it asks me where to save the picture. Fedora rocks.

Macintosh has something like that as well. But mostly I find it annoying because most of the time I want to edit my pictures and make it smaller etc. :)

Yeah, I had to open it up in GIMP and resize it. GIMP's good, though, it wasn't difficult at all.

I tried having a few on my desktop at one time, lasted about a day, even with renaming to have a streamlined look. The taskbar icons are most helpful with a convenient location.
