I got...
* $400 (I'll use this to get a Wii and various paraphernalia)
* Pajamas
* Gloves
* PSP cover
* $10 gift card to circuit city
* Goldfish pizza flavored snacks
* Assorted Nerds candy
I gave to my family...
* Bath + Bodyworks stuff
- Gingerbread, hot chocolate, and caramel popcorn body wash
- Coconut and lime body butter
* Heavy duty leather work gloves
* 2 shirts
* Black cat "piggy bank"
I think that out of all of my family, I actually knew what the other person wanted. Sure, getting $400 in cash is nice. However, nothing says thoughtful like making their wishes (or wants) come true.

Indeed. Guess you had the time to kill, eh?
I only have one more thing to say. Just because I have this or that doesn't automatically make my life peachy. You weren't there for the time my psychotic mother tried to break my bedroom door down...over me asking her where she wanted me to put the table I was helping her move, of all things.

We all have crazy parants, my mom has the shortest fuse ever, she took out my bedroom door one time because I took a nap and she kept calling and i didn't hear here, she also gave me a months groundation....and that's not the worst of it. But you don't have to always be so pesimistic.

Didn't get a single thing I actually asked for. I don't even think they looked at my list.
Did get a laptop though. Honestly can't say I'm all that happy. Granted, I needed a new computer, but I'm probably the only one in the world who actually doesn't like the things. I also don't like flat-panel monitors, which is what my dad got. I'm on his computer since all my junk is still on it. It's like the laptop, can't stand the bloody display. Everything looks...off. And I hate it.
Hell, it's Christmas. I have a right to b****. My entire year was pretty damned s***. Today was just a disappointment.
OMFG!!!
Tell you what mate, my kids would love a laptop. If you really don't want it i'll forward my address and you can send it to me!! I'll pay the shipping costs. At least then it'll have gone to someone who actually appreciates it! HOW UNGRATEFUL CAN ONE PERSON BE!!!???
Oh i hope you have kids that are the carbon copy of you one day. Your parents work hard (I assume) to give you the decent things in life. My kids would have given anything for a laptop as a christmas present, we're by no means poor, but there is NO way we could of afforded one for them. But what I can say is that they were made up with everything that they did get!

Go back to eating your candy canes.
That's what it is though, you're the one conforming, you let everything annoy you, and you have no reason to, you and most other teens, you believe you should get everything your way, and if something is against your oppinion you freak out about it, you Set, are an average American teenager, even though you don't think so, you are! At least you get Christmas presents and food on the table, and the internet! You wouldn't be bitching about how "but I didn't get what I want" if you lived in some third world country, you would be just happy to get something at all. Don't make your life sound like a crap on a stick, when you have no right to! you should be happy with what you have, and not let your synical attitude make everything seem the worst it could possibly be! YOU GOT A COMPUTER FOR CHRIST SAKE, I WISH MY FAMILY COULD AFFORD TO GET ME A COMPUTER!! I've even had to pay for some of my gifts that my family couldn't afford with out my money! Did you have to pay for your presents? Stop you complaints and try to think more possitively! I'am a teen too, but unlike you I try not to let things make me angry, and people get on my nerves (EXCEPT MY SISTER

), and I know it is hard sometimes, you just have to let these things not get to you and look at the brightside.
There that's more original than teen angst Merry Christmas Set

Cool it off man! (Not that I'm a moderator, or want to be, or anything)
I understand how you feel about Set's comments, but yelling isn't going make anything better.

Totally agree with Kirk, you let yourselves get trolled again.
No snow here in sunny Santa Cruz, but the roast is out of the fridge, will go into the oven in about a half-hour, and most importantly...
MOM'S COMING HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL!!!!

Hospitals are boring! Give her my best wishes
I've only seen snow once or twice. I live in a fairly hot area.

Speaking from experience, hospitals aren't boring. They're intensely stimulating...too much so. Anyone who tells you that hospitals are restorative and restful is LYING through their teeth...
So. We finally opened the presents. Here's the tally:
- A couple t-shirts, one longsleeve turquoise that says "It's All About Horses." And the other, a longsleeve vat-dyed black shirt with two wolves, a black and a white, on it.
- A nice Craftsman jewelry box.
- The Breyer Goffert model (beautiful trotting Friesian stallion)
- My brother gave me some money which I'm gonna put in a high-yield CD account.
- A set of bath accessories.
- And a GAWJUSS black velvet broomstick skirt that I'm going to wear with the wolves t-shirt on my birthday in about a week.
Hey, why not? It's winter, my birthday twin and I are going to Trader Vic's, we're gonna get schnickel-faced on flaming rum drinks. Okay, maybe I'll wear a pirate hat, too. Why not? Forty-something Capricorn wenches indulging themselves, refusing to act their age and going a little loopy on a full moon night. Gots ta love it!

Really? Haha! Must be different for different people. Everyone I know was bored and hated it. But it depends on the person I guess, I know a few people who weren't too fussed.
I like my own bed ... with my guitars near me (one sleeps right beside me) and all my other stuff.
But anyway, I'm glad to hear the news. Bleh I just cooked myself some pizza and i'm full from eating the raw ingredients!

we need a wolf with a pizza emoticon!

Trader Vic's

They have those in the US

From a certain song I heard I thought it was a small London pub
