If the fact that we exist can be explained by saying "because we do" then it is logical that something that people are bred to believe is unlikely or "impossible" could exist.
For example many people believe it is IMPOSSIBLE for werewolves to exist. How do we exist? If you say just because then how can you say that other things are IMPOSSIBLE?
Some people say I will believe it when I see it. Well then what? Will you scream out in vein to all of those who say the same thing? Will you let it ride?
Anything can exist because we do and it may just get to a point where we start discovering things that will never be explained and that would have previously been susspectable to ridicule.
Do not judge too harshly if not out of fear of being judged yourself then out of the fear of traveling down a dangerous road. A road that leads to intolerability. It is a slope, it just isn't slippery.
Before you yell and say that you are not judging about werewolves or that you do not judge people FIRST ask youself how you

would respond to these statements.
"I was abducted by aliens."
"My car came alive and attacked me."
"Objects were floating in my room and my bed levitated."
"A hole ripped open and sucked my friend into another dimension."
"I am a chosen one of the otherkin."
"Satan owns my soul."
"I can see into the future."
"I can see into the past."
"I can shoot fire out of my..."
Stupid? Maybe...but we exist.

However the answer to the question how do we exist is simply "I don't know."
The fact that "how we exist" can not be explained by rational thought does not make existence or life pointless. The point of existence is existence itself. Hope this response mskes Z's

Thing can be judged impossible because this world we inexplicably find ourselves in has rules - restrictions that must be adhered. Prerequisites for existence. Because of this, our origin, or origin of our universe has no meaning in determining the impossible. Furthermore, in addition to judging something's existence by the possibility of it being able to exist, there's plausibility. Would something like [X] really come to be? What could cause to to come to be?
Etc.
We may not know how we, or this universe came to exist for
sure, but we've got theories, and even if we didn't, all we really need to know is how it
works.

Taking a clock apart to see "how it works" is one thing. Trying to do the same with the universe is a whole other ball game.

Oh, of course. But different parts of the universe function differently and we don't necessarily need to take it apart to figure it out. We, for example, figure out how things in space exist based on gravity and what we glimpse through scopes and photos. Some things we can take apart and examine with little danger - like the body. Taking it apart and seeing how it works isn't exactly something that'll blow up the universe.
