I would really like to buy his Kaze, Ghost Worrior, but it cost $17.95 and the movie is only 22 minutes long. Yes, I know its an independent film so therefore not a huge production but still...
Wouldn't it be a rip off.
I looked for the 22 min. DVD on Amazon, but it cost $29 there!!
I might still buy; just got to think about it.

Your werewolf conept it's awesome, although it's looks a bit bluky the overall design works really good, not like a movie but for a video-game it'd be one that I'd definitevely would buy

, keep up the awesome work!.

That's a fantastic werewolf man. ( or woman, lest I be wrong ) I myself use MAYA, but am way too lazy to have learned all the fur controls. Did you use maya?

Oh geez Mork alot of folks said their opinions, but you did not jump on them, why are you jumping on Fig for posting his own? They didn't say it was their opinion either, but nothing was said to them..I tend to agree with Fig an alot of people who said just the same thing about the VH werewolf. This hasn't just happened here in this thread but others as well

Well Mork..For future reference, make sure you point that out to
everyone who says this not just one particular pack memeber..It would seem that your picking on just them..honestly that's not fair

Fig was just expressing his opinion.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out.

I think it's great. Though, in my opinion, the werewolf is just a little too muscular.

I finally got the thing to load and in a word WOW! Very well done. The hairless bit with the Arctic Wolf has a resemblence to a Dobie, rather than a Lupus; but that's what works best.
It's a pity we only had a few seconds of movement, but what was there was excellent and fully believable.
I see some references to the Shoulder muscles as being too much, but remember; a Were's shoulderblades are held on by those muscles and they have to be large to keep the shoulder blades in place.
All in all, quite excellent- the car was nice, too.

The program I used was Softimage XSI 5.11, (in additon my friend James used Maya w/ Blastcode to add the glass shatter, and fusion to composite the shot)
It took about 8-10 workstations rendering 24 hours a day for about 4-5 days to render the short animated sequence, and took about 3 weeks to render out all of the snow/rotation shots.
There is about 3/4 of a million hairs on the model, almost megar compared to the 5 million? used on Aslan in Narnia (or so they say from the specials on the dvd)
Computer limtations really bottle necked the production. I had to render out the the fur as one pass to get the look I wanted, and the result of that every 3rd frame it would glitch and would hafta re-render it. And attempting to light it using than more than 3 spot lights would kill renders. (it would take 20-30 min per frame) I wish I could've dove into more photo realistic render but it was not possible with the time constrants of putting out a studen reel.
Othere wise I would of done more with this model, but I would render farm for this.
zbrush was used, but only to detail around the nose and eyes.
I did refrence abit of doberman when making the model. Since I couldn't find any super wet, or forbid shaved wolf photos to see the physical structure of the head. (my dog was no help either, all fluff...)
I tend to styled my werewolf drawings pretty bulky, thus I model him with a pretty heavy build, less to my imagination after applying fur to the model made him even bulkier than I thought...
Hopfully there will be more tidbits of him once I find a job in the industry, and able to afford a decient render machine for myself
