A Beehive of Satellites

The launch of the first artificial satellite by the then Soviet Union in 1957 marked the beginning of the utilization of space for science and commercial activity. During the Cold War, space was a prime area of competition between the Soviet Union and the U.S.

In 1964 the first TV satellite was launched into a geostationary orbit to transmit the Olympic games from Tokyo. Later, Russian launch activities declined while other nations set up their own space programs. Thus, the number of objects in Earth orbit has increased steadily -- by 200 per year on average.

The debris objects shown in the images are an artist's impression based on actual density data. However, the debris objects are shown at an exaggerated size to make them visible at the scale shown.

Getting a cyst out of your DOMINANT hand really, really, really hurts. Especially if they used a freakin' long needle to poke into the hand, three times, before finding the cyst and sucking out the jelly-like fluids. And there was no anesthesia or anything to numb the pain.

So now my typing is really slow, and I can barely grab. But I'm glad it's out.

Hmmm. I'm wondering if someone is trying to access my account here. I logged in, minimize the screen for awhile, came back, and found that I was logged out and I had exceeded the amount of times one can log in. I didn't even log out in the first place.

It's happened to a few other people, I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the cookies.

I just had a truly massive tonsillolith, which I removed. Well, not massive compared to those tooth-sized behemoths on the wiki page, but large nontheless.

You know what I noticed, I was talking to friends in my school and I noticed that the chick who plays bella is actually pretty pale almost like she looked like a vampire. Plus my friends saying vampires sparkling gets rid of the great thriller part of the vampire. I prefer werewolves. So I wish Jacob got the girl...GO WEREWOLVES!!!!!!!!!

Just the thought of sparkly vampires makes me laugh hysterically.

I know...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Hey, a coyote wont pass up an easy meal. But I would also watch my puppies like a hawk now too.

While I was in Nashville, I found a store with a buy one pair, get two free! HOLY CRAP! I didn't have the money, but the three seniors with credit cards ran off. Our choir director was a little concerned.
