Hi, I'm new. I'm not stupid, just disorganized.
Don't worry about it -- I merged the threads.
And welcome to the Pack!
I hope you enjoy your stay.

First off, I use Opera, and this site does NOT work well with it. Bleah. I'm a non-conformist among non conformists, and it's tough...oh well.
Anyway...all that aside. Thank you all for the kind words.
I do ask a favor. Please be patient with me. I am very dedicated to my brothers in the wild, and have sacrficed a lot for them. It has cost me dearly. I suffered acute lead poisoning during a fire at a house I was renting while I go to school for my pursuits of the cause of wolves. That and my childhood have rendered me "marginally functional in society." Thus, I have major issues with communication and interaction.
Know this, I have no ill intentions towards anyone. My life is quite literally dedicated to the cause of wolves, and I am sensitive about things related to wolves, and other things that I feel are related to society's attitudes that have left wolves to be shot and thought of as evil monsters. I have become extremely tolerant of late, and do understand that to proceed, I must learn to 'get along' in society. Yes, I will be impatient at times, but don't take it personal. I will try to maintain my goal of disciplinging myself and thinking before I go off the emotional deep end. If I do, just smack me upside the head and tell me I'm being counterproductive.
I will try mostly to stick to the topic at hand. I have a great deal of experience with the spiritual and sensual sides of werewolfdom as well as the wolf side. No, I'm not saying I'm an expert by any means, but it is near and dear to my heart, and I will share of myself as asked, and contribute to the conversation as appropriate.
I'll also try to stay humorous.
Thanks again. Feel free to email me, IM me, or bob me upside the head.

I just downloaded it out of curiosity, and version 8.02 seems to work fine so far as I can tell. Do you have the latest version?

Another newbie here. I'm a university stuent from BC, and of course I love wolves and werewolves and movies dealing with either! I am a professional lurker, and I was very glad to stumble across this site. The movie will be incredible, I am sure, and it's great that the opinions of the fans are being asked.
So yeah. I hate these artificial introductions

I have 7. Opera 8 sucks! Dammit.
Anyway, when I tried to post a reply, it would send me to the index. But this was only when I changed the sort to show oldest posts first, and used the "Post Reply" link, not the form.
Was weird....
Maybe it wasn't an Opera thing.

Odd. I browse the forums with Opera 7 every so often and it hasn't ever done that to me.

Traditional Wolf Greeting

I could always leave a traditional wolf greeting:
A nice pile of scat, and urine on every tree, stump, bush, rock and clump of grass around.
Btw...when you've not seen many wolves in the wild, and haven't been around captive wolves in years...the smell of a pile of wolf scat is something to behold...
*zips up his pants and moves on...*

There, I made a reply, tried to make another, and it just kept sending me to the index. Not until I went to a new thread and made a post there did it let me post here again.

Hey folks, I'm new and got directed here by Fenrir (thanks hun). I am many things, including student, mechanic, and Independent Business Owner. *sighs* It makes for a very busy schedule. I actually heard about this sight from a friend who went "ooo! You have to see this." And as she was login in to show me the preview for "Freeborn" she was telling me all about the history of this place and how it started. And after I saw the preview I was hooked. As for me...
I'm 21 years old and live outside Philadelphia, PA. I have always been a fan of both wolves and werewolves, and I love the way this site is set up. I wish there was a way to catch up on everything that has been said here, but I don't think I have that much free time left in my existence. Anyhow, I am glad to join the group.
