Kaebora:
You should check with convention security about this first. In the past, the convention had problems with complaints about weapons and devices that look like weapons. Heck, they had to ban the use of water guns at one point. It's a sensitive issue.

Sorry; we'll miss you at the party. Perhaps next year? The nice thing about annual events is that they do happen again. And, the Brownriggs look like they're a regular fixture, so Pack meets there look like they're a given for the long run, too.

Where in Texas are you? Maybe one of us isn't too far away.

I think he lives north of San Angelo. Thats a bit "out of the way" for me. I'm shooting straight up I-35 to get to Dallas.

Lets have a contest for who's traveling the farthest for A-Kon.

You're disqualified if you can't make it.

I think the ones coming from Japan will win this contest.

Just two more weeks. The gut wrenching anticipation is unbearable. What am I supposed to do until the convention? All I have right now is my work at the Call Center serving as a remedy for ignorance.
Must... keep myself... preoccupied. I can't take it anymore!

Hey, do we have a Pack meeting place where everybody is going to converge? Also, what is everyone going to be wearing so we can identify eachother?

You had a nice spot in front of the dealer's room entrance last time. Everyone leaving their merchindise runs could see your booth. I hope you have some good luck in booth placement this year as well.

Yeah, it was a great spot! It was so great a spot, in fact, that I can't help but wonder if you and Silver bribed someone for it. Ten thousand A-konites, and every one of them had at one point or another burned into their brain the question "...if someone told you that werewolves exist..."

I'll definately have my precise homemade replica of the Halo Battle Rifle with me either way. It's for the props-making seminar they have every year. Any thoughts?
I thought I might post last year's pic, if I haven't already. As long as I'm wearing this, I'll be 100% in character. It'll be fun to see some of yall get to know my self-invented alter ego. (Emoticon hairpiece not included.)
Clicky.
Is anyone else going in costume? If so, have any pics of it? What does it look like?
