Honestly...I'm listening to a jazzed-up version of the in-game music from the third TMNT NES game at the moment.

...seriously...

(Oh god...I think I just dropped a few ranks on the geek scale...or rose, however you want to look at it.)
I wouldn't call that geeky. You'd be surprised how good some of that old NES music can be with the right equipment.

You might enjoy, for example, the Minibosses

Am listening to Mega Man 2 at the moment.

The Minibosses are not that great. (though I have one of thier albums anyway.)

I suggest you check out some of the work done by others over at OC-remix and VGmix2. I have over 6GB of MP3s, mostly from those sites (and a few from old old-school Napster and Kazaa searches, which I can't find anywhere else)

There are alot of bad mixes out there, but the gems make the search totally worthwhile. (if you're a geek-gamer like me that is)

Alot of the best stuff is really hard to find.

I'm actually working on compiling a 700mb Mp3 CD of my favorites right now. I've got some awsome stuff, and I'd be happy to burn and mail, or upload them to you...if it wasn't illegal to do so without the creators permission. (all 100+ of them)

...darn it...

Thinking of VG music. ...the VG Live tour is comming to my town next month, and I'm trying to get tickets, if I can get that day off from work, that is.

*nods* Some of the stations are meant to be listened to, others just to be made fun of. The problem with Espantoso is that both the music and the host are fast Spanish-talkers, so a lot of the jokes don't translate.

Kind of the equivalent of K-JAH in San Andreas I suppose. Most of the music all sounds the same to me and I can't understand a word the host is saying either.

Here's an interesting one I'll be surprised if anyone else likes (or even knows about for that matter):

Band: Fischerspooner
Album: #1
Song: Emerge

The semi-annual fundraiser on KWAX, my local classical station. Lots of on-air talking it up interspersed with truncated music (nothing over 5 minutes).

They've been at it for the past week and a half, thank Ghod we're in the final four hours. Kind of exciting, in a way, like watching a race.

I just finished listening to a performance of Beethoven's piano concerto, conducted by Neeme Jarvi (sp?).

They're about to do Grieg's "March of the Trolls."

Coolness! 8)
