I just thought of something...

How are the toys of these things going to work?

Is it even actually POSSIBLE for a toy semi-truck to transform into something that looks like that?

...or will the toys all come in two parts...'Vehicle Mode' and 'Robot Mode'?

Or...will the toys just look almost nothing like the movie versions, exept for the untransformable die-cast models?

These designs just seem like a bad idea from EVERY standpoint, as far as I can tell. They won't even make good TOYS...

There is pics of the 2009 Camero there. Thats what Bumblebee is suppose to be.

Oh...it says this there.
“Bumblebee” is going to start out as a 1970s Camaro, and then be rebuilt as a 2008/2009 Camaro.

Just saw the art for the new Megatron. That was NOT Megatron.

While I may not have liked his original transformation, I did like the character and every incarnation of him I have been able to look at and instantly recognize him as Megatron, didn't matter if he was a Tank, T-Rex, Dragon, Jet, or even a Crocodile. I always recognized him "they always kept his face the same and basic body build. Just moved around the extra parts for transforming. But that THING was not Megatron. That was some spiney alien thing and not one of the great villians from my childhood.

Long live Megatron, Skeletor, and Mummra!

I had this exact same thought when I saw the concept art for Prime weeks ago.
I think that's why all we are seeing is the leaked "concept art" after all very rarely does the final product look like the concept art.
Just look at the Wraith from Star gate ATlantis, they look nothing at all like their concept art (which was deemed too scary for that type of show as a regular villian)
Prime I can handle as a skinny version of him, but those Megatron and StarScream versions have to go.

I just reciently found out that my proffessor was responsible for many of the computer screens you seen in that movie. For instance, the one displaying the transformers sound effect. Neeto.

OMFG!! :cafinated:

OPTIMUS PRIME LOOKS SOOOOO AWESOME!

http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/180871643 ... /970423582

HELL ALL OF THE TRANSFORMERS LOOK GOOD AUTOBOT, DECEPTICON I DON'T CARE!! :cafinated:

*takes a deep breath*
The main thing I was worried about this movie was how they were going to make them look. Are they going to some what stay true to the old school series and make it look hokey, or are going to mutilate them, but damn what a happy medium! They look realistic, but they look like a transformer (at lest with Optimus)

:howl: :oo I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS MOVIE!! :howl: :oo

The designs are okay, except for Megatron, but there are still some things I don't like:
-The color schemes of Prime and Rachet. THEY'RR RED GODDAMMIT, NOT BLUE OR GREEN!!
-Bumblebee should be a New Beetle. CURSE YOU VOLSWAGEN!!!!

Somebody got a licensing deal with General Motors; that would seem to be why every Autobot becomes a GM vehicle. I agree that Bumblebee ought to be a VW Bug. If he starts out as a classic and gets rebuilt, they should have started as an original VW and then get rebuilt as a new one. Note that at one point in the cartoon, Bumblebee was reinvented as "Goldbug." Thankfully they don't seem to have that bit in mind with the movie.

I thought I heard the reason Bumblebee got changed was something along the lines of Volkswagon didn't want (or just plain doesn't allow) their products in a war movie. Don't quote me on that though....it was a while back & my brain's not functioning at full capacity right now. As far as the design changes, I'm not too torn up about them. Yes, I'm a huge "old school" Transformers fan, but I don't wanna be "that fan". I mean the totally UUUUUUBER hard-core fan that goes postal over every little change (yes I know some of these don't qualify as "little), and rants about how this movie shouldn't even have been made if every miniscule detail isn't exactly like the original show. And no...I'm not accusing anyone here of being "that fan". I plan to see the movie, munch on some popcorn, and hope to just have a good time for an hour & a half.
