Too bad everyone can't be as lucky as me- broke and quitting a minimum-wage job in the summer to go to a-kon then to volunteer at the wolf park for a last hurrah before real life sets in.....

F***ing DITTO!! Yeah Fig and the rest of you really made my first time at a-kon enjoyable especially when I saw Fig with them duckies an u actually tossed em an Pariah in her fursuits..I hope everyone can be there..It just won't be the same if I can't see ALL of you

I plan on going to A-Kon 20 so you all better be there

My trip to A-kon 18 is canceled until further notice.

Now guys, Figarou made a tough decision to work for Exxon. As it is I'm sure he was excited to hear he got the job. No suprise either, since he's more than qualified. This job means he'll finally have a 401k that he can retire with in 20 years. Many people aren't in jobs that secure. Job security is one of the greatest feelings in the world. A-Kon really isn't more imortant than one's own financial future. We'll see Figarou in person again, but we just have to wait a bit until that time comes. His job is a blessing, and I am happy for him.

Oh I know. I think we're all happy for him getting a good job. We've just got to gripe a bit!

Didn't Fig already get his stuff for A-kon (ithink he said he got it in the first post in this section) that's his money wasted

Well, maybe the other driver will suddenly realize he doesn't really need those days off.

Right. There's always the chance that the other driver will trade his vactation days. I've had to do this to clear my vacation time for last A-Kon. I ended up working the same night I got back. You'd be suprised how well you can squeeze a schedule. I'll keep my fingers crossed for Figarou.

So true, but I think Fig is going to have to pull off a miracle to get there this year, but atleast he has
to the rescue

It'll be some type of miracle alright.

I'm going to have to find out which driver has the days I need and find out if he really needs them. If not...then we could do a trade. That or work on a holiday for him. (Xmas, Thanksgiving, ETC.)

Me an Z are going to be making our trip down there a day early. We just wanted a day extra to chill out an get ready an make sure our fursuits are just right I know it'll be nice just to actually be gone for that many days away from home Too bad though it's not longer, hell we'll all have fun anywho
