It Begins...

The first time someone bungee jumps, they might be scared as hell.. hence, first shift, you might expect it to hurt, its wild, the sensations are overwhelming, and so pain becomes more prevelant.

But after a while, once you get used to it.. once you've bungee jumped several times, its really quite a rush. The pain gives way to a wild undescribable sensation.

Heh, I compared it to a 1st jump out of an airplane.

I would probobly use that example to describe the feeling too...
...if I wasn't catatonically traumatized by any exagerated sensation of falling. ...needless to say, I'm not a big fan of most roller-coasters.



I LOVE the sensation of intense speed, though. Break-neck speed...overwhelming G-forces...now THAT is what get's my adrenaline pumping. ...I've never gone "fast enough" before... and I've taken some "dangerous" G-forces before.

...back in the day, there was this local carnival with a common spinning ride called the "Gravatron". The thing is...it was not carefully regulated, so the ride controller would often crank the speed up to unhealthy "dangerous" levels if the riders cheered loud enough. (...I'm talking, people passing out fast...).

I LOVED it...I kept going back for more. Being mashed against the walls that hard did not feel good at all. My body felt like it was being crushed...I was nearly unable to breathe untill the ride slowed down...and I allways had a MIGRANE sized headache after getting off the ride.

...but I allways just got right back into line again. It hurt like hell, but it was such a THRILL to me that I didn't care. I kept going back to do it Again...ELEVEN times...untill I threw up. Then I decided to stop.

...I've never been on as fast of a spinning ride since then...
(Mission:Space ...the only ride in any of Disneys theme parks to offer "Barf Bags", felt tame to me...)


...anyway...

That is the attitude I imagine werewolves could have towards the tranformation. It never stops hurting...but they don't care. They welcome the pain...if it means they get everything else that goes with it.

I did not "writhe in agony" on the Gravatron, even though I WAS in considerable pain. ...and I only SCREAMED out of exitement...
(...and the tears streaming from my face were not from the pain either. Those were literally "squeezed" out of my eye sockets...)

Likewise...a werewolf going through a painful transformation need not "writhe in pain" either, but actually be seen enjoying it, in spite of the Pain.

I would have to say that before a werewolf transforms they will have some pains in diffrent locations of their body as well as being dizzy, maybe some anger as well...

Extreme pain at first, as IMHO, the first shift and the subsequent early shifts will take longer, so hurt like a mother freaker. . .like someone's breaking and twisting and pulling your bones/body apart. .but as you get used to it, get better control of it, the shifting is faster. So the pain doesn't last as long, and as you get used to it, becomes a discomfort, unless the change is forced.

I personaly think that the pain would always be there,
but it get less and less each time because they might start
getting used to the pain. And yet if they stopped shfting for
awhile the pain would come back. It's kinda like a game I have
called Lightning Reaction, and as you can guess it shocks you.
