Come now, Starbucks isn't Evil, Evil just works there for $6.50 an hour.
It isn't even so bad, if you like burnt coffee with a side of oil on top.
Their Frappucino is even good, on occasion.

Went home for a weekend and my grandma made her southern speciality. Salmon Patties w/cornmeal, boiled potatos, greens, and the best cornbread i've ever tasted.

I have healthy night every night
Actually tonight was slightly less healthy. I didn't do salmon, I did a chicken-and-pineapple stir-fry with rotini. I had a bunch of chicken left over from making the soup so I decided to cook it up.
Coming up in about four hours: Pacific Rim chicken soup with cilantro, pineapple, lemon grass, garlic, onion broth, Hawai'ian pink salt, basil, noodles and red pepper.

I'm trying something new: Canard Figarou. It's a basically herb and lettuce salad with a vinagarette dressing and Tossed with Smoked Duck Breast meat.
'bout time our Pack Rep. had a dish named after him...

Ohhh, I wish I could! I'm out of milk right now, poured out the last of it on my oatmeal this morning. I'm almost out of that lovely-wonderful green tea chai from Oregon Chai, too...
H'mm, maybe I can sacrifice one day at the Mane Event and spend the gas/admission money on a quick Costco run...
Fig, that dish sounds great! And congrats on eating healthy. Have a recipe? My butcher gets duck on occasion...
Report on the soup I made last night...it turned out seriously yummilicious, but it's got a kick from the curry, lemon grass and red pepper. The coconut balances it out nicely, though, and the chicken-cilantro-basil triad was wonderful. I reserved a cup for tonight's dinner and froze the rest.
Sweet Lady Hestia, I love my slow cooker!
