This is the place for discussion and voting on various aspects of werewolf life, social ideas, physical appearance, etc. Also a place to vote on how a werewolf should look.

Heh. That's what I would have said.

"Come on you guys, let me out of here, I'm human!"
"Hit the bricks Furball! We're not falling for that again."

Good point. I don't think any werewolf would enjoy it if it were implied that a werewolf social structure was being enforced. As was stated in another thread, an alpha werewolf might not be someone that leads the pack, but just the one werewolf that knows everyone else personally (like the aunt in your family that always has Thanksgiving at her place). That said, being referred to be a wolf social status rank might be taken as an insult.
Which would be especially true of anyone referred to as "Omega."

I'm not sure where to post this or if I should start a new thread.

Ya'll seen them taser/stun guns, right? Now what if one was used on a werewolf.

Will the werewolf fall to the ground like everyone else? Will he just stand there and laugh it off? Or will he be really pissed off?

For a taser to work on a werewolf, what does the setting have to be set on? I know it has to be set higher compared to a human. But how high?

Well I think the main problem would be getting close enough to the werewolf to use the stun gun. Tasers eveidently have a probelm penetrating clothes, so I'm not sure if it would get through the fur.

I imagine that a good tasing would take its toll on an average ww. Worse, I could see it causing some involuntary muscle spazms that just might lead to a shift back to human form!

Uh... let's not carried away. In no way was I intending to start a debate / poll / thread / etc. to determin the characteristics of an average werewolf!

Oz was once forced back to human form by the Initiative (BtVS, Season 4), and I believe this was accomplished through judicious application of electricity.

By average, I mean to say that a werewolf that is above average, compared to his or her brethren, may be able to resist this (such as Michael Corwin from UNDERWORLD).

And in case anyone feels the need to acknowledge it, WtA Glaswalkers shouldn't be affected by a taser unless they choose to be.

Please do not take my reference to the 'hybrid' werewolf / vampire from Underworld as an endorsement of that movie. I acknowledge its relevance as a big budget mainstream action film that is helping keep werewolves in the spotlight, but otherwise have little use for it.

But I did enjoy reading the novel adaptations. :D

It could also work in reverse, or in a third way, turning a Gestalt to full wolf form, or a human to full wolf or Gestalt, or back.

Giving a werewolf 'wedgies' would probably piss him off.

Or was that prank allready been made? Oh.

As per posts elsewhere, most werewolves wouldn't be caught unconscious in clothing anyway, so a wedgie would be an double-indignation! :hsup

If you really want to piss off a Werewolf, blow a really high-pitch whistle in it's ear and get the f*** outta there.

Side note: The last person who did that to me was lunch.

It'd probably irritate one if you started calling them an hippie (what's the other name besides treehugger? ergo? orgo?) and told them they really needed to start shaving their legs or waxing their back... I don't know, maybe, lol

If someone told me as a WW that I didn't exist, I'd just hang them upside down from something and wander off, not get particularily pissed off :)

As to the taking-what-he-or-she-is-eating thing, I think the result would be the same; more amused than annoyed.

On the other hand, as some have already mentioned, treating one as a dog (Fetch, boy!, dog whistle use, waving dog treats, etc) is just begging for retribution, and not necessarily of the amusing/embarassing kind.
Sanity is relative.

I'd be real pissed if someone treated me like a dog like "Come here! Come here! *whistles* Good dog!" and then the fetch thing. Grr! :x

Ah, so you've read the White Wolf novel Love of Monsters, from which they stole the plot?
Taking a Gestalt approach, since it's the "in" thing...

Hmmm....I don't think they stole the plot from that novel. When it comes to werewolf stories, its real easy for 2 different people to come up with the same ideas.
