They've changed the Underworld werewolf a tad, made it a bit more hairy (but not much) for the sequel. Props to Chris Sawyer for these photos from ComicCon.

They'd probably look better with a person inside them, but still, I think they're nifty. ZOMG the airbrushed skin patterns :cafinated:

Heh, apparently at their panel at Comic Con Tatopoulos (their main creature designer) announced that there will be a new werewolf design along with the old one they used. Don't know what it looks like yet, but hopefully it's a good 'un :D

i disagree. the underworld werewolf looks rather cool as a werewolf. its not really wolfish but its freakin awsome, I say if they have to make a werewolf that doesnt look llike a wolf at all, the underworld werewolf is a great alternatives, you guys just see the glass half empty, i see it half full.

The photographer sure picked an odd view of that figure.

According to the text under the picture, he meant to take that shot!!

Atleast the underwold sequel the werewolfs are going to be a bit more hairy, and the hair has been improved.

I'm not sure, but I think there is more than one type of werewolf in the Underworld sequel. I remember seeing a werewolf that had spotted skin instead of fur/hair.

but like I said I see underworld werewolves as a kind of demon werewolf, if you think about it does look like a cross between a demon and a werewolf,(ive seen alot of demon pic and they dont lookanything like a wolf, more human if you ask me)

Yep.

I'm hoping that this ends up looking like that.

I've seen that pic a while back. It looks cool and all, but I rather have fur on the body as well.

Well I meant the figure, not the movie werewolf. That needs fur.

I don't really mind if the fur is only simulated in the paint job, just as long as it's not pink.

I agree that the Dog Soldiers werewolf looked better.

The Underworld werewolf looked great, but it shouldn't be called a werewolf. Maybe a werecat of some sorts. Paint it orange, add stripes, and it would make a great weretiger.

wolves have muzzles and noses, and the ears sit up top. The eyes look very feline as well.

Still, looking like a cat is close. It's in the same order. By comparison, gorillas are primates, which if you think about it is hardly a shift at all. (Bears are from order carnivora as well, however, and some werewolves out there have a werebear kind of look.) Rats are, of course, rodents. And for the really bad movies, crap is a mixture of digestive end products and large numbers of bacteria, a different kingdom entirely.
Taking a Gestalt approach, since it's the "in" thing...

im starting to feel embarrased having this avatar now.... :( .

but as I said before, If they had to make a werewolf thats not wolfish at all, wouldnt underworld werewolves be a good alternative, cause this is the way I see the underworld werewolf, an alternative to the wolfish looking types, But I still like having a werewolf that looks wolfish better.
