Take a look in your profile options:



The bottom one will give you your pop-up whenever you get a PM.

The top one will e-mail you whenever someone replies to a topic you have posted in (including a topic you made). I don't believe there's an option to get a pop-up instead of an e-mail, though.

I dont know if this has been discused already or anything but what the heck
If someone ever hacks into this site or we get a viris or something bad like that, will all our discussions be protected somehow? I've seen websites have all their forum stuff completely deleted and such. I'd hate to see all our werewolf ideas and topics to just disaper like that. Got some irreplacable stuff here Not sure how all that works and all, but thought it would be a good thing to consider

Yeah I suggested the idea, and showed him how to do it a several weeks ago. So how big is the DB now? Last I saw it was 84MB.

Also, the next time we make a modification to the forums, we should back up the entire board (files and directories, not just the db.)

Just copy over /public_html/werewolf. That will contain everything having to do with the forums.
