I thought deja vu was when you felt like the situation you're in happened once before even though it didn't unless it was a dream.... The only times I can remember having deja vu was when I was at TGI Friday's. It was my first time but I could've sworn I'd been there before. Or when I'm talking to people and I start thinking "Didn't we have this same conversation in this same place?" It's one of the weirdest feelings I've ever had.

Its said that this happens when the brain processes something super fast.
Sometimes the eyes register something in your enviroment twice.

But this is not teh only 'explination'.

I've gottne it on any number of occasions.

Some I've been able to recognize as being "double ups" of what my eye or brain has processed. These, at least in me, also trigger a slight dizzy or light-headeness.

Othertimes I've been down teh same path, in the same place, or with teh same people in a certain place, and get teh feeling. Often, but not always, ist associated with my brain making a conncetion of a place and situation that I -had- been in before. This response gives me a strange intense -clairty-, where everything is sharper.

Other times I've had deja vu and not had any reaosn ryhme or other "outwards signs" attached to it..., and its been creepy.

I've had "shared" dejavu with another person at the same time. Now THAT is creepy!

There's three versions of your name that I know of. Fenrir, Fenris, and Fenril. I'm not sure which is the original Norse version, but those are the variations.

Deja vu, that's happened to me once or twice. It's kind of weird when it does. I don't get dizzy or anything though and it's mostly me thinking "Haven't I been here before?"

It's sorta like different accents and how they say stuff different in different places so like in candada they say aboot instead of about (misspelled on perpose to get the pronunciation right)

And I've heard every pronunciation and speeling you guys said and I just like this one better :)

Ya it's just one of those different place different pronunciation, like Odin was called Wodin or Wotan in different places but its still ectremely similar because English and German and Norweigen are all Germanic languages, just like Spanish French and Italian sound alike cause they're Romance languages

Yes I find it fascinating too :)

I get it all the time, sometimes I'm just randomly thinking something and a couple seconds later it may happen or will be mentioned. I never really pay attention to it, because I don't care. And if I am physic then what use is it to predict 5 seconds in the future.

Or maybe I'm conciously 5 seconds in the past, where my mind is trying to perceive things but I don't fully sort it out untill 5 seconds and I'm always 5 seconds behind and its my subconciuos thats at the right rate or....or I need to hit the hay because I'm talking gibberish.

Cumulus Deja Vu

See I searched for it before I started a new topic!!!

I have a creepy Deja Vu sometimes where it feels like it has happened before. Like watching a DVD rental of Solaris and at the menu where you select settings, play movie, special features, etc... where it plays the same sequence over and over again I had a horrible feeling of Deja Vu that was driving me crazy. Just a few days ago here on the forum when Figarou threatened to ban me and shadowulf said he had the memory of an elephant the Deja Vu hit me again.

Creepin me out.
