New to The Site, New to Werewolves

Hi, I have to admit I'm pretty new to this whole thing. I absolutely adore the concept of werewolves. I haven't really seen any werewolf movies. Well, i saw New Moon but I don't really think that counts? XD
I'm a fast learner, though n_n
And I love the whole concept of it. I find it enchanting and amazing to think about.
I am also an artist and werewolves are a really fun subject
Oh, and some factual information.
Im a 16 year old girl Jersey. And that's all you really need to know except im not what you would call a "Jersey Girl" XD
Hope I enjoy my time here : )

According to actual lore, werewolves weren't the hybrid things that are so prevelent in werewolf stories today. In the old lore, werewolves were people who had the ability to become a WOLF, or were turned into a wolf via a curse. So in that sense, the New Moon werewolves are more akin to the actual traditions that something like what was in Underworld, Wolf-Man, or even the Howling.
