First Knight
Ladyhawke (Great!)
Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail (Of course!)
Lion King (I loved the first, but I didn't like the sequel at all.)
Van Helsing
Fifth Element
The first Matrix (The others were disappointing)
Robin Hood: Men in Tights
Shrek (Didn't care quite as much for the second, but both were good)
LOTR Trilogy

Anime:

Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust (Very good)
Lupin III (Excellent)
Wolf's Rain
Trinity Blood (Pretty good so far, at least)

Teratas, are you a Final Fantasy fan? Because i can think of no earthly reason how one could like that movie. :P

No magick, No Mogs, No chocobos, none of the things that transfer with every final fantasy. It was like a sci-fi film, claiming to be Final Fantasy.
It lacked any Final Fantasy to it, and left me thinking "That was a total waste of a hour and a half of my life".

Let's see. What would an animation fanatic (me) like?
In alphabetical order:

AWIL
Balto
Brother Bear
Finding Nemo
The Howling
The Incredibles
The Lion King
Princess Mononoke
Shrek (both)
Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron
Star Trek: First Contact
Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back
Watership Down

That's a quick baker's dozen. There are sooo many more, but I don't think we have the bandwidth.

Well, at least the Cid archetype was there...

While I didn't dislike the movie, it didn't really seem like Final Fantasy to me.

Actually, I'm glad the movie didn't resemble any of the games. Final Fantasy is the one game I can never play when any of my relatives are in the room, because inevitably they'll start looking over my shoulder and soon demand an explanation as to why the protagonist is riding a giant chicken, why does Seymour have such big hands and how come your fighting him again when you already killed him, why don't those guys with the swirly-green eyes ever speak English, how come Squall's sword explodes whenever he hits a guy, why does the protagonist have a tail -- they expect me to explain the whole setting and plotline in a matter of minutes, and the only thing that pisses them off more than "I don't know" is when I suggest that they should try playing the game.

Lets face it, there's no way in Hell Squaresoft could have ever squeezed an epic Final Fantasy plot into under two hours. So I didn't watch "The Spirits Within" with the same expectations I have when I play a Final Fantasy game, and truth be told, when you don't have any set demands for the movie beforehand, I honestly think it is one of, if not the absolute greatest animated movie ever.

And so what if there were no chocobos? Big giant chickens doth not a great movie make.

EDIT: Just got a craving to replay FFX after a long time's rest, thought of this thread and kept track of my timing for once. Two hours won't even get you to Luca. :P

:D I finally saw "The Howling"
It was pretty good for an old movie. It made me laugh.
Everytime I saw a smiley face sticker I'd burst out laughing. Like, what's the point in the sticker? The psycho werewolf sure did like those smiley faces. There were other things about it that I found funny, like when they tried to start the car to get away. HAHAHAHA! They couldn't start the car and they kept screaming like idiots. That really caused me to burst out laughing. It's just one of those classic moments, over used, but classic.

:o Oh yeah! I remember now. I finally figured out what made those people into werewolves. It was the chilli....Sure. Watch the movie again and you'll see a can of chilli on every desk, shelf and counter. Yummi! lck

Oh! Look! 10 cans of chili, two cans of Bean with Bacon soup, and a few cans of refried beans.

(Shh! Don't tell anyone, but I think there's a werewolf nearby!)

Yup, stomach cramps from chili is a sign of a werewolf.
