Man i love that movie it made me laugh, cry, and made me cheer!!! that wolf dog is sooo cool its a good movie even though it had wolf attack humans which we all know thats a load of bull but still is a good movie.

Well...if you're talking about the begining (the whole wolf-pack and the two guys transporting the coffin...or whatever it was in the book), they
were extremely hungry.
At that point it doesn't matter. Too hungry to care.

I remember seeing it in a theater long ago. Parts of it were pretty moving. Loved the action and the scenery.
I can't comment if it stayed true to the novel or not. I've never read it.

Hmmm... I think it deviated from the novel near the end...
