New to the Pack, so I wanted to say Hello to everyone here

Hello Everyone...
I'm a 41 year old mixed blood American Indian woman from central California, near Yosemite National Park. I feel I am more of a shapeshifter -- is that the same as a were?
I am very much interested in learning more about this and I can't describe how happy I am to find others like me. It's nice to not feel so alone. 
I am also a writer, poet and musician. I go to a community college, trying to get a certificate in web design and another in network engineering. I also am in martial arts, I am in a Sho Shu Kung Fu school as well. Not sure what else to add, if there is anything anyone wants to know, please ask.
