For all of you FPS junkies out there, just wanted to give you a heads up on a fun game coming out this month. Its called FEAR and it is pretty fun. I got to play test it at CPL. The graphics are on par with hl2 (uses a tweeked source engine) and the game play is smooth, plus you get some fun guns and the ability to slow down time with your super-human reflexes. It also has a nice horror aspect to it with this creepy little girl that shows up every so often. Check it out

Just installed it a few hours ago, great game, very gory; just the way I like it. There's a cannibal too, pretty cool. You get to use bullet time as well in addition to some kick *** melee attacks. The A.I. is pretty clever so if you're an idiot don't buy this game, you won't find them running around a corner right into the barrel of your gun.
The story in a nutshell: You are assigned to a Special Ops team in the near future that is assigned to investigate paranormal activities. F.E.A.R. = First Encounter Assault Recon.

Eeek! Well my processor is only a P4 2.26 (non-hyperthreaded) and my video card is a horrid Geforce 4 MX series
I need a decent sub-$100 video card stat! Ah how quickly the money goes!

A 9600 pro runs half life perfectly so it should run F.E.A.R. pretty well and its only $80

If you're referring to the game it's only 45$.

I feel happy. I bought this game 2 weeks ago along with some others. Thing is now that I tried to install it, it gave me a wonderful error saying it couldnt load a security module so the program cant run. As I said before, stuff like this makes me happy

Unlikely, the game was brand new. Seems like Akela the Hun's conquest must end.
