I will be gone for I don't know how long

sweet. My computer had a heart attack and now the system32 files for windows are corrupted. I am running of knoppix right now, but I will turn the computer over to the tech office tommorow in hopes that they can repair the files without having to reformat *crosses fingers*. So I will be gone untill they can fix this piece.

We had to reformat mine because it kept getting this stupid virus (doesn't now though). That sucked hardcore! Wiping everything off and then trying to upload everything back on (I can't lose my favorites!)

Mines did the same thing last year and the hard drive just fried itself. I ended up loseing EVERYTHING (I then learn to back everything up on a disk
). Lets just say I wasn't THRILLED about that!

Good luck, computers can be real finicky, I once pressed a button on accident that unistalled all my programs

Once I had a very important document open on MS word, that I hadn't saved yet. At that particular time, I was away from compy, and she decided to update herself and then restart. Needless to say, I lost my document. Grrrr....

Yeh, aint that fun? The guy who decided that "Hey, lets make it so the program doesn't HAVE to wait for a response" should be shot.
