hey why do people make them selves hidden in the forums? starres at the mods

I noticed that too!! Heh maybe they don't want to be ambushed by us pack members?

yeah i guees fig doesn't want an onslot of rubber duckies being throwen at him.

Usually it's Figarou, if there's two people on I'll assume it's Fig and Anthony. Someone else is hidden too but I don't know who.

I just as confused

I'm always hidden because I don't like my name showing up in a different color than everone else's. That's the only reason.

There's a feature that allows you to not show up in the active user's list (either the one on the bottom of the index page or here.)

(Unless the person viewing it is an admin, then they can see everyone.)

That's the page that shows all of the users that are online. You were online and not hidden when you looked at the page, so you showed up on it.

Why hide? Ummmmm.....because. I have my reasons.

And sometimes they're only on to check on things and might not wanna answer PMs fired their way or anything. *shrug*

Maybe they hide because as high profile members, if they showed themselves, they'd get bombarded with an overload of personal messages. Fig is the undisputed champion of total posts, and Anthony Brownrigg is a celebrity, currently working on proving the theory that a good werewolf movie is possible. Both would attract so much PMs and replies that they might not be able to get anything else done online without having to ignore these messages, which is hard to do without worrying about someone's feelings.

They can be PMed at any time so what's the point in that? It also does no good if I know who's on anyway.

Because, if they're online, the decision to PM them is much easier to make - in that you'll have the (hopefully) instant gratification of an instant reply.
