A french affiliate?
La tanière des lycans
is a french werewolf fan site, and message board.
There has been a suggestion by the admin there, about a partnership of sorts.
Frankly, the little seal we have has an international flare. and a pack network isnt a bad idea.
I'd love to support this site in France, and come up with some kind of solution to this.
Linking up would be fun, and informative, and we could all learn to howl in french. Le howl?
I informed him I would bring it to the pack.. What are your thoughts?

All good with me!
Not that four years of French thus far has made me all that fluent.

There is no problem with that on my side. It would even help to generate a much bigger fanbase for Freeborn and the whole project at all. Besides that, it could be interesting to interact with people from there and discuss with them. I just need to be careful that I won't mix up all the languages. English, German and French....the combination would be aweful

That would be great! Although The Pack has members world-wide, we're heavily U.S. and then the U.K. Having a French language affiliate site may draw more interest from more brethren in Europe, and for that matter in other French-speaking parts of the world.
France also has a strong history of association with lycanthropy and werewolf lore. They gave us Gilles Garnier and the Beast of Gevaudan. In the sixteenth century, France was the werewolf capital of the world. This is great news.
And, I am so grateful for Google's translation services, because I'd hate to be the one to blame for blundering up such an elegant language.

Oh I don't know, that might work out quite well, I mean, don't the french love their garlic? I'd imagine AB would like that, what with some of his various promotional campaigns lately, where garlic wolves might be effective repellent for certain other sparkling cinematic creatures of the night .Fullmoonstar wrote:It will kill everybody with its baguette-like teeth and the striped pullover.Figarou wrote: Just for that....I bet there's going to be "A French werewolf in New York."

While the empty can may rattle the most, of equal or potentially greater import is what the reputably quiet cans are really full of.
