I figured that I'd drop y'all a line and let you know that I'll start driving up to Wisconsin, to live there - in the next couple of days. I haven't yet decided whether to start the drive Saturday or Sunday, but I'll be off the net for a little while.

So much to do, so little time...

Eep! Yea why? O_o Mate/family/school/job/better weather (*G*)

One of those is usually the reason for a 1000-1500+ mi move =)

Wish ya the best! Better get used to the idea of "cold" and "snow"

:D

The only reason I'd want to go there would be to build a snow fort.

I've never done that, so I have no opinion on it.

The apartment I was in at one time leaked when it rained. So they said I can move into another apartment.

Took several days to move everything over.

My bathroom used to leak when it rained. I just put a bucket under it until they fixed the roof. (They still haven't fixed the hole in my celing.)

I think I would really hate having to move next door as well. So close, but yet so far away.

Wisconsin Hunh...

That just may make you the closest Pack member to where I am, (Northwest of the Twin Cities in Minnesota).

The last few winters up here have actually been pretty mild, as far as extreme cold, compared to years past, so I'm not sure what to expect this winter. I wouldn't worry too much. ...you get used to it.

Thank you, all of you. To attempt to reply (I don't start driving until Sunday)...and should arrive Monday or Tuesday.

Fenrir & Koshaw: My job in the Army is moving me to Janesville WI, to be an Army Recruiter there. Nothing like being a focal point of controversy. :)

Silverclaw: If I run into the Bray Road Beast, do ya think it'll get me out of my dayjob? Granted, I also don't think that I'd have to pay taxes anymore. Hmm. Tax evasion by becoming a were-_____. Sounds good to do it. To answer the question from the teaser, "Would you become one?" I'd have to say Heck Yeah! The IRS only has tax laws for humans.
[/tangent]

Vuldari, I think I'm already a cheese head. I say this because the Seahawks from my home state left me with the desire to root for someone else, and my co-workers say it because the Army and TV have done quite a number on my brain. C'mon down to Janesville, if you're ever in the area.

Thanks for all the support - I'll drive safely. :)

I'll see you all again from the other side of the country! (24 hours and counting till I crank on the engine)...

Fenrir, I shoulda dropped by and met you or something. I'm in Janesville, WI now, and am back online to boot. I'll be back in Atlanta next Labor Day weekend for DragonCon, if you're not doing anything, it'd be good to run into another pack member at the convention. Aaaand, if you live close enough, you might niot need to pay for a hotel room at the Marriot marquis or Hyatt Regency (or the nine overflow five star hotels that are around there too).

I think Vuldari is the closest active member to me now. Great, I live a state away from the Apostraphe. I'll drop you a line when I'm Comma to Minnesota.
