Here's something that may be of some interest. From Japan, a band of 5 "wolves" has been making a bit of a splash. Their music could probably be described as some mix of j-punk/pop/rock.

The masks are, at best, kinda goofy looking, but the concept is rather neat and the music is quite good, IMO. A couple more interesting ones:

Their "backstory" is that they were created as the ultimate life form by Jimi Hendrix, who is the "doctor of the guitar" and "master wolf biologist".
Japan is wierd. Cool, but wierd.
