You've got eleven months to start saving; it's well worth it.

I remember going on a much tighter budget, back in the early nineties. It was just as much fun for me back then.

It's ALWAYS Dallas, and I'm getting a PS3, that will totaly deplete my savings. :( It'll be on my list of things to do on my year off :D (2008-2009, Hopefuly) (man do I need a job or what) I'd need a drive to Bangor, my dad doesn't beleve in using Moncton here in Canada. :wiggle:

I better start going to work more often  lol

I'm hoping if I save enough money, I can go to both AKon and Anthrocon next summer :)

Fig, I just got your DVD in the mail. OMG I have to hang out with you more at the next Con dude!! :o You seem to know where all the fun is. And I'm beginning to regret not hanging out with you guys more. Both at the Con and here at the forum. *sigh*

Yep. I'm going next year too, and I'll be putting $100 per month into a savings account for the event. I'll have the plane tickets, spending money... and then some. I smell a Limo ride to the hotel.
8)
One thing is for sure. I have to be more self sufficiant. I almost ended up without a room. So... I'm getting my own one-person hotel room next year. Anyone in need of a place to keep their stuff, or stay for the night are welcome free of charge, but resereved for the truely needy.
