Um people might know about this. My friend gave me a GTA 3 code. It is called Liberty City Survivor.

If you don't know about it here it is, down,up,right,up,x,r1,r2,l2,l1

Then you put in
down,R2,R1,triangle,x,L2,L1,up,down. Sorry if it seems obnoxious, I just thought it might be funny if people knew about it.

if its the one where all civies get weapons then civi riot, yes i've been there, done that and died manicaly lol...

...speaking of games i'm dying: on Half Life 2, i'm in this small road tunnel where a tanker has spilt some bad chemicals and i need to get past the spill by jumping over car wrecks, not only that theres a fire going on AND these "zombie head crab" things pop out of the chemical spill and start attacking me.
I died in 1min lol missed a zombie thing with the SMG and hit an explosive barrel.
*BOOM* vital signs negative. *flat line tone*

Heh. Yer supposed to be throwing the cars out of the way with the gravity gun, and ramming through in the jeep.

@Miguel: Sounds... interesting. Might give it a try sometime.

LOL its WAY past sand traps, i'm out on the streets with risistance soilders, no jeep for me.

Heres a GTA3 cheat: L2, R2, L1, R1, L2, R2, Triangle, Square, Circle, Triangle, L2, L1.

I just thought it was funny because I put the code in. One gang member shoots me and a wossy old lady shoots him with a M-16 and a man shoots her and the cops are shot at and blood pours into the streets. Works great around Staunton Island Cartel area with Yakuza. Reccomend it definately. It is a random code that is different from the others.

Ahh, that bit. No advice there; it's hard, but keep trying and ye'll get through.

I got past the chemical spill, it took ages lifting up crates to cross it and shooting the zombie things. The dark toxic parasites hidden in the dark tunnel add more fun as the instantly drop you to 1% health on contact. *scratch* 97%-->1% WARNING! nurotoxins detected, administering antidote. (the suit voice is ace lol)

I thought this GTA3 cheat was funny: Circle 3times, Square 5times, L1, Triangle, Circle, Triangle. Speeds up the time and weather MANICALY

I have also used a car stearing one, its crazy! R1, L1, R2, L1, Left, R1 twice, Triangle. Cars should handle stupidly over sencitive lol

MORE Half Life 2: I used the crossbow at close range and nailed a CP soilder to this appartment wall, then the super fast jumpy zombie things beat on me. *Manic gun fire in a confined space* Majour lacerations detected, administering morphene. (the EV suit rules lol)

Its a very good game! and i hardly ever play FPS. The puzzles often make use of the gravity gun which is so ace!
E.g: Soilder runs upstairs, soilder gets hit by a high velocity radiator LOL (or anything thats not nailed down) Pictues, TV's, Filing cabinets, desks, sinks, barrels, Pc's theres a HUGE list of throwable things. Hours of entertainment.

I threw a paint can at a guard once, but the good news is that I have upgraded my computer and it should be able to run half life 2!! I have a 9600 pro so that should be good enough!!

That's the one I have now, though it doesn't perform as well as I'd like so I am getting a brand new computer with a 64 bit processor as well as a brand new graphics card.

Beware using this cheat, once used it cannot be undone.

How well does the 9600 pro peforms? Can you have the graphics on medium details atleast? after all it is a directx9 and a 256 mb.

It should be able to run at least medium. I can't say I think getting an ATi card was a very good idea; they tend to abandon their older hardware, making it less and less stable with each driver release, not to mention having numerous other problems, sometimes even on the hardware level. Too late to change that now, I guess; just keep this in mind come next upgrade, and I hope your system won't be plauged the random crashes that my 9800 loves to execute. Anyway, back on topic, it might not be able to manage the newer HDR bits, but it will certainly run the game with tolerable settings.

Oh yeah, it runs without lag on medium, but I want a card that can display ultra-high with no slowdown at all.

Then get a GeForce 7800GTX :D

By the way how long does it take to install Half Life 2?

Posted: Sun Oct 30, 2005 4:31 pm
by Akela
It took me about 13 hours... but that's because the part you have to download was taking so long, I got the game the day it came out so there were many people installing it at the same time. When I had to reinstall took about 45 minutes. It's a good game, you won't be dissapointed.

I hate Nvidia cards, from my experience they generally suck, I think I'm sticking with ATI.

I beat half life 2 and had a blast with it. I also cant wait till I build my new computer this spring with an amd fx 55 proccessor and two 7800 gt's (I had the opposite experiance as Akela) After you beat HL2, get Garry's Mod. that mod never gets old and you can do some crazy stuff in it.

Yeah, I've had a friend who can't shut up about that, keeps going on about making a soda machine into a working vehicle.

Interesting... I'll have to find it, I believe you can also manipulate facial expressions to the extreme.
