When I was looking at some of my older drawings and then looked at the one with no hair and no tail, It had really good looking digrated legs but then I thought " How would it look like with plantigraded legs. I retraced it and then when I go to the foot I realize how hard was it to draw a human foot front words but the side view is easy ...Do you guys have the same problem? Also if you know how to draw the human foot well could you post it up.

Probably the same reason it is hard to draw human faces: You see them all of the time.

I think it's hard for human faces bcause our brina is used too and mapped to reconize human faces, and thus we easily see a mistake, and because they are all so unique. To me a wolf looks like a wolf, all the same to me! Yet each human looks different to me.

I find drawing hman legs hard, I'm just too used to the digitigrade stance that making a human standing is as tough as can be!

I can draw a human foot at an angle, but from the front, nah it doesnt seem right, yet digrated legs seems soo much simpler, could this also be the reason why it got more famouse for werewolfs aswell?

Yeah, same here, I see a lot more human faces that wolf ones, so it is easier to see the mistakes in proportion.

I don't really have problem drawing legs, and I tend to angle the feet in such a directon that it makes it easier to draw.

then whats the point of getting better at drawing if you want to draw thing at an easy angle. You should push yourself and try do it in everyway.

Put your own foot in front of a mirror at the angle that you need for the drawing. Then, just draw your own foot.

A human foot is hard to draw from the front because of the excessive foreshortening.

Human feet are a b**** to draw :P

*kindof offtopic* How would you say 'digitigrade'? Is the 't' silent or not?

di-gi-ti-grade.

Actually, I pronounce the 't' more like a 'd'. Di-gi-di-grade. I don't think that's right, but that's just how it comes out.

It's just wonderful how many ways there are for NFS to fail.
