New " Werewolf " Figure
I was at K-mart today and ran across these figures:
www.k9corps.com
I'd never heard of em' before but I decided to look at the back of the box and what did I see.....a huge grey werewolf figure ! Heh, I dug through them all and finally found one on the top shelf , that was one out of all of them so it may be hard to locate the werewolf one. The art on the box is oddly like Kemono Inukai's werewolf art and the figur sort of resembles John Talbain from Darkstalkers, it looks well molded and is around 12-13" tall.
There is an image of the figure on the site, it also comes with a lot of neat items like dog tags that let your figure speak, trading card, and a video cd.

One of the characters, Grey Slash, is some sort of wolf/husky mix. I'd direct link but bleh, flash. But yeah, that seems like it does have deifnate TV show potential.Ralith Lupus wrote:Hmm. Neatish, but they're dogs, and plantigrade, too...
I wonder what that IS. A TV show? A movie?
Edit: yay for print screen

i like the idea of but it seems really really cheesy! the short film, the fact the the leader has the "PURPLE BONE!!!" metal!! and much of its seems Clique and most of sounds like the ripped off GI JOE!!!! the nija dude the guy with the guns and the over the top bad guy that wants to rule the world. i think it would be a good TV show if the model it after the real millitary, and clean up some areas, like get rid of all the bad dog puns

$9.99 Geese, I think I'll just buy that Necron Lord I've been wanting for my tabletop army instead.
It does seem like a rip-off of G.I. Joe, I used to watch that show alll the time. As someone I know says....

I use to watch G.I. Joes when I was a kid all the time, I use to always buy action figures of the show and one of them I got a free tape!! Unfortantely it got ruined. , and I use to always buy those micro machine war battles edition which they stop making. But now ill only buy werewolf related figures. Or some kind of super hereo or anti super hereo like venom.

Good looking out Blades! I had read about these figures in a Toyfare magazine from way back, but had totally forgotten about them. That Grey Slash figure is now definitely on my must find list. Too bad they didn't give him a tail though. After work tomorrow, Im gonna be making a beeline for the nearest K-Mart.
P.S. Here's another pic of the figure - http://images.kmart.com/assets/images/p ... 94398E.jpg

Ughh... not them! I hate the Space Puppies, nothing personal they're just the arch-rivals of my Chaos Legion - The Thousand sons.Petard wrote:you should just specialize in the space marines and make your army an off shoot of the space wolves
Once they come out on the Dawn of War there's going to be some serious ownage.

I knew you guys would interested.... It may end up as a TV show and I will watch and yes prob. tape just to see Greyslash the werewolf kick some doggie tail.... A note, I haven't found any of em' at walmart ( I was there tonight) and it is a new item so it won't be discounted any time soon. Lastly, Greyslash must be more rare because I went through about 25 of them and only found the one so if they are discounted he prob. won't be among them. As for tails, I don't see why it's such a big problem for toy manufactures. As if a couple more ounces of plastic would kill them. Oh well. that's what amateur modeling skills are for.
