"it is better to rule in heaven then surve in hell"
Hamilton
[spoiler]"If you were coming in the fall,
I'd brush the summer by
With half a smile and half a spurn,
As housewives do a fly.
If I could see you in a year,
I'd wind the months in balls,
And put them each in separate drawers,
Until their time befalls.
If only centuries delayed,
I'd count them on my hand,
Subtracting till my fingers dropped
Into Van Diemens land.
If certain, when this life was out,
That yours and mine should be,
I'd toss it yonder like a rind,
And taste eternity.
But now, all ignorant of the length
Of time's uncertain wing,
It goads me, like the goblin bee,
That will not state its sting.
-Dickenson
I thought it was beautiful when i first heard it

This came up thanks to this forum in the "What music are you listening to" thread. Nobody successfully disproved this in that thread, so I'll try ot here just to be sure.
"Country Western: White Supremacy for the 21st century."
~Terastas
And for my second quote, I'll back it up with:
"Why is it that when a white Southerner plays a guitar or banjo and sings about why he's depressed, we call it Country Western, but when a black guy does the exact same thing, we call it the Blues?"
~Terastas
I mean... Think about it! Can you name so much as one black, hispanic or oriental Country Western singer from the last twenty years? The Country challenge on American Idol or the guy from Ireland on Nashville Star do not count.
Hmm... One more...
"The difference between sex and death is that with death you can do it alone and no one is going to make fun of you."

These three all have two things in common: their about felines, and I couldn't find the original speakers:
"Do not blame God for having created the tiger, but thank him for not having given it wings."
The Pouncing Tigress:
"One pounce, she's hungry -- you die quickly. Two, she's teaching her cubs -- it's going to be a long day."
"My ancestors ate your ancestors. . . And my food dish is empty."

Father of the Pride quotes:
Kate: Blake, Victoria! What a nice surprise!
Larry: Yeah, like when the gas wears off early and your dentist is buckling his pants.
Sarmoti: Chocolate Lightning and the Glockenspiel Five?
Larry: Yeah. They were originally the Glockenspiel Six, but Gunter had a heart attack in a dumper.
Roy: Roy's heart is as soft as the lotioned hand that now caresses you like a velvet womb.
Snack: You just said twelve words and eight of them would get you shot in my neighborhood.
And uh... *nods at his member status* Ahem.

I'll respond with:
Can you honestly think of any black guys that want to break into the country western genre? That'd be like me wanting to be a rapper or an African dancer. It's just a historically white thing. If a minority wanted to give it a try, I think they'd be received reasonably well, after the initial shock wore off. But, none of them want to.
